From my understanding ichiro doesn't want shiro to be part of the investigation anymore now that they've found the sister, then shiro says he has to continue investigating coz he has a personal connection to the case, the guy in prison, Ichiro then says that makes it even worse now you definitely need to stay out of it, they argue and ichiro says hurtful things to shiro, like how it's his fault that he got kidnapped and Rion had to come out of hiding and now the enemy knows she's alive, shiro says he can't argue against that logic, the he asks if ichiro will leave, ichiro says yes, the shiro says he had hoped his place/ their "relationship" would be a safe haven, ichiro feels guilty that's when he tells shiro about wanting to kill the perpetrator and how his violent thoughts made him join the police, then he says he doesn't know how he'd face shiros family if shiro died during the investigation He's scared basically, coz he knows what losing a loved one is like, then shiro goes and hugs him and says if that's how he feels then shiro will stay beside him. Ichiro runs away to finally cry about losing his parents, from what was implied it's the first time he's cried over his parents death coz he blamed himself for their deaths since they'd gone out to buy a present for his bday. So basically ichiro said mean things to shiro to get him to back off in a misguided attempt to protect him and shiro was like NO lol...
So the episode was deciated to the drama original character, which was fine. I like how he was tied into the story.…
Ichiro being a virgin makes so much sense that guy is emotionally stunted and I totally don't see him being in a relationship with anyone, also the way he reacted when shiro half hugged him made me think he hasn't been affectionately touched by anyone in a long one, it was either hes beaten up or beating up someone lol... Ichiro is never gonna live this down he's gonna be teased to death by shiro lol... Hopefully when the manga ends they'll be a couple, but I'm guessing shiro will realize his feelings first and it's gonna take ichiro a long ass time to figure out his feelings and why he's so protective of shiro, I wonder if manga ichiro is as protective of shiro as the drama one?

i know he was scared thats why he said those mean things to shiro but damn did they hurt and shiro almost crying but ending up laughing and you could see the relief on his face when he noticed that ichiro was saying those things coz he was scared he might get hurt or worse die, looks like next week is gonna be more "bromance" lol... i cant wait Also i wanna be the blankie that ichiro and shiro shared in ep 5 lol

They are staying at shiros house, like shiro gave ichiro a key in the previous episode and they are staying together to investigate the case, ichiro is prtending to spy on shiro, and whats better than actually living with the man you have to spy on. Also the hair changes coz i think they shot the drama scenes out of sequence, in some scenes the hair is light blond and in some scenes its darker blond, i guess they just didn't touch up on the hair dye
