does this drama revolve around highschool? or is that just the past and they remeet at an older/working age?
Um I would say both? There are a lot of high school flashbacks that give a backstory for the present to show us what went wrong. But, the leads also meet at their old high school 9 years later. Bok Soo comes back as a student (since he was expelled)and Soo Jung is his teacher, while Se Ho is the chairman of the school. So, most of the drama takes place at the high school, and they also meet again when they are older. Hope this helps! I'm not a fan of high school dramas so I hope you're not discouraged by the plot
1. Why is Kluay's manager so absent minded? How can she not suspect Ploy being behind all the scandals? She has literally seen/heard Ploy being sus and yet she thinks nothing of it like girl what kind of a manager are you? 2. HOW does one "scandal" like having a secret boyfriend get you fired from a drama you're in the middle of shooting? And make you lose all the deals you've been doing with brands? And when the scandal is cleared up you magically get everything back. Like lol what?? 3. In my opinion the romance between Pup and Kluay feels insulting to the viewers? Or maybe i'm too old to agree with everyone saying how hot Pup is and how cute they are together? Yeah he's attractive but the way he approaches Kluay is gross. He's always grabbing her and getting real close to her even though she seems visibly uncomfortable. I can't stop cringing every time he grabs her and she tries to break free. And what is up with him and the female doctor? Why can't he straight up say whether he's in a relationship with her or not? Like dude, it's not that hard.
If you want a quality drama, this is definitely not it. The characters are one dimensional, and the script is lazy. But I guess one positive thing about it is that if you look past these issues it's lighthearted and the plot isn't heavy. The episodes are short as well, so you're not investing THAT much time watching it.
This was a great feel good drama; I think once in a while you need to watch one like this. It was really positive and bubbly, almost no sadness. I love when the main guys in dramas are nice to the girls from the start, so this was a big plus. Not too crazy about the ex boyfriend and his gf. I find that with a lot of dramas, it starts out with lots of humor then the plot gets heavy and serious and there is no humor anymore, but this drama doesn't really have a plot, no crazy plot twists, so it was pretty straightforward. If you're looking for a drama with a great plot and twists on every turn, this is not for you.
