There, Sohyun was introduced to Christianity and western culture. King Injo, being a conservative, wasn't happy with that. So, Sohyun died mysteriously, his wife faced an execution for treason and their 3 sons were exiled to jeju island.

King Hyojong was the second son of the King. He was the Crown Prince's little brother.
Crown Prince's children did not take the throne.
King Hyojong have 7 years age difference with the Crown Prince, so I'm sure he knew everything and well aware what is going on in his country.

Every preview of this drama hinted that Jaewon-Jinhee's story will progress to some extent. But whatttttttt? It's just a slowwwwwwburn that I can't see the burn because it was really slow! I don't mean I want to see a kiss scene or something (but I won't protest if it ever happens lmao) but can we see more Jaewon? He is the main character but the writer treats him like a side character.
