Episode 54, I thought No, not another horse running and gasping for air! There should be a picture of a horse for Supporting Role or Guest. It was CG, extremely well done, that I was yelling, No, Not the horse! I loved Nirvana on Fire 1 &2 but this one was seared in my heart. This is the first time I cry for characters in a drama. I found myself yelling at the computer, clapping with joy and jumping during Ling Buyi's sword fights. It's not that I'm obsessed, but that the complex characters were extremely well written and acted by a superb cast. The music was haunting and beautiful. Fell in love with Ling Buyi, Niao Niao, the Empress, Emperor, the father, grandma and the arrogant scholar. Hoping they continue the drama with a Part 3.
Her family and friends had about 4-5 years to notice she was having mental problems? 27, so young, devastating! I wish peace for her family. Next time around, hope she comes back with a bang.

For me it's his lips. He has a natural opening between his lips that remind me of a babydoll w bottle. Binged watched up to eps. 10; really enjoying it. Fantastic acting by YZ and CY.
I've watched up to episode 6 and have found it entertaining and FL, Yang Ze funny. I really came for Cheng Ye's acting and handsome face. I find myself distracted by his lips which look like expanding fruit. At times, they look normal, then smaller, then more voluptuous. Lip injections or is it cg? In earlier episodes his face, especially his left cheek bone bulged out and distorted his face, and the background merged with his face. Beautiful actress playing the evil fairy is doing a great job.
My favorite actors were Kim Bum and Lee Dong Wook but I stopped at episode 14. I found myself fast forwarding and bored. It wasn't mysterious, romantic, and no chemistry was developed by the leads. The screaming, not talking by some of the female actors really was annoying. LDW must have been paid a bonus to act in a romantic scene with the female lead.
Didn't recognize Xu Kai Cheng; too over weight. He's young, 32, and needs to get fit to continue getting ml roles. Episodes 1 & 2 had me laughing. Zhao LuSi is on a roll.
I watched drama for Jeremy Tsui. For a fluffy drama, the acting was very good especially the leads. I liked the way the romance was developed between the FL and the Grand Tutor but the romance between The FL and Mu Tingzhou was rushed. Hey, I felt robbed. The comedy was witty, loved the historical drama scenes, and the chemistry between leads. This one pulled my heart strings.
After watching eps. 42, have a lot of tension on my head. I wonder how did our ancestors survive because life was precarious. Survival of a family, the lineage was very important then. I can see how it has been ingrained in our genes.
