I just remembered a few days ago that I read this novel and it was lovely. Happy with Zhao Lusi but not sure about the male lead. I watched only one drama with him. But really waiting for this to air.
I would love to watch a drama with the 2 guards something like The Untamed but Korean. Overall great drama but was sad that they did not show the wedding and her being pregnant.
I'm only on ep 20 but does someone know maybe from previews when Hong Dou goes back? If she even does that. I can not wait for the subs, it's killing me. I wanna know moree
I don't know about others, but I can't with the fact how often they eat, because of them I'm hungry all the time (but for real, I just realized that half of the episode is them eating)
MAYBE SOME SPOILERS (MIDDLE EP 13) I have a question about the emperor and Yin Lou because in ep 13 and before she stated that she doesn't like the emperor and doesn't want to stay close to him, then later she stated that she doesn't want to trouble Xiao about the emperor and she stays close to him, and it kinda pisses me off that she changes her mind and it affects her relationship with xiao and now she makes the emperor think more about her relationship with her (i know that now there's something about the emperor being a villain) but still... if she was as smart as some people say in this comment section she wouldn't be letting the emperor touch her I even think that in the beginning, they made her more stubborn and later she gave up. idk how to feel, something doesn't sit right with me and her behavior.
So do you guys recommend this drama? How's the acting and most importantly writing? How's the relationship between second leads, or is anything annoying?
Damn, I'm shocked at how styling can change appearance. I just watched the trailer of Mr. Honesty with Liang Jie and her clothes and hairstyles make her so much younger and she shines in there with how she looks. In this drama, they gave her the clothes that really age her up and her haircut. Sometimes I wonder why Zhao Xi fell in love with her (except for the thing with the sense of justice) I feel like they do not suit each other (just a feeling that both of them would be better with someone else, or maybe I should watch another drama with Joseph, just fell in love with him, or maybe I can not get to like Liang Jie and her acting).
I was waiting for a confession or a time jump but we got holding hands in the last 2 minutes of the drama? This show had the potential for 16 ep, 12 definitely too short. I really liked this drama but the second half or at least 4 episodes should have at least some development of their relationship. The beginning really got me hoping that there will be a blossoming romance, but somehow screenwriter forgot about that part and I feel like we got more romantic scenes between Bom and Jaehoon. It doesn't sit right with me that everything was solved and moved on but their relationship got stuck in the middle.
Damn, I'm on ep 1 why the heck fl is so aggressive, I've read somewhere in the comments that she has an inferiority complex. Is it said later in the drama or is it explained why she acts like that? Because I've been skipping her when she throws a tantrum like a 2 yo child.
The battle between Shin Won and Haeon... I think Shin Won overstepped his duty. He proved that he would choose love over friendship and after they fought you could see the hurt in the King. I get it he was supposed to marry So Rang but his behavior proofs that he is a friend that you can't trust. Hurts even more because in episode 4, when Haeon talked with the minister (or someone) he told that Shin Won is his friend and he should or can trust him. Also he should remember that before being his friend Haeon is his King.
I must say I agree with some of the comments. Watched the first episode (barely got through). I knew Chae Soo Bin from her previous projects (like A Piece of your mind) and liked her acting (and chemistry with Jung Hae In) but in this drama, she's so hyped and goofy (?). It doesn't fit her at all, it doesn't look natural, and it looks fake. Maybe if it was toned. Minho... never saw him acting in any drama and guess I did not miss anything. I couldn't see the chemistry between them his face was stoic pretty much. Yes, he has pretty eyes that get into your head but his face did not portray emotions. Even when I skipped to the final episode and ending scenes there was no chemistry. The dialogues were a "no" for me. Others Joseph and the model girl I did not like their acting (u can smell that they debuted recently). Overall it did not convince me to watch the next episodes. Shame, because I waited for the release.
