For me the ending is still satisfying, since I don't really ship doil injoo that much. 💯👏 I think it's just…
same,, i dont realy root for them romantically. but i can see Do Il had invested some feelings to In Joo when In Joo sort of has her walls towering up from him because of everything that has happened. maybe that’s why their relationship didn’t work.
I was also shocked at not ever fast-forwarding. I tend to skip quite a bit in dramas, these day. But, not once…
right!! even those strange parts with the chanting and stuff, i managed to watch them all 😂. this is a good example of that show you’ll binge watch on a weekend.
i just finished the whole thing. ill give it an 8/10. i really like sci-fi and stuff like that but for this on, i stayed for the characters relationship with each other, especially Jihyo and Bora’s friendship. it tackled some modern issues and I kinda somewhat like the ending especially when she was asked whether she still see those aliens or not. acting is very good especially Sister Abigail haha impressed with her grins and crying scenes 👍🏻. As for others it may be a bit slow paced, but i think it’s how the film was directed; in my opinion, i think it’s made that way to build tension and anticipation for the next scene. SFXs are so good that they affected me a lot, you know, those errie chants and melody, and bgms. Camera angles, so good 👌🏻. who would’ve thought i finished the whole thing without a moment to fast forward the episodes. I watched it exactly as what the episode duration is, to. the minute, to the second.
as for others, given my points above, i hope it can help if you’re considering to watch this drama. 😊
I put it on hold in episode 6, is it worth picking back up and finishing
i put it on hold at episode 9. just picked up and finally finished the whole thing — the best decision i made. (well if you’re looking for a series that’s fast paced and full of fluffy romance, this is not for you. but if you’re in for a slice of life and heartwarming type of series, go for it!)
p.s. every moment of this drama should be savored and enjoyed. yes, that type of drama 😉
i’ve been watching this since the release the 2nd episode and have been waiting every week up until episode 9 — then i put in on-hold along with thirty-nine (which i picked up much earlier than this). and now i finally decided to watch the remaining eps and oh my gosh this is such a masterpiece. it’s so heartwarming and most if their issues are realistic. i cried so much on that episode of eunhee and her best friend and continued crying up until the last episode. i don’t recommend it if you want to watch something just to kill time — this series should be savored each second. it’s the kind of drama that is ‘art’ .
bro ep 18-20 is probs one of the eps i cried the most in this drama. BRO IM LITCH TEARING UP 🥹
so true, i found myself tearing up from the episode where eunhee’s confrontation and reconciliation with her best friend up until the last ep. the tears just flow as if i have a reservoir in my tear ducts 😂
I'm satisfied with the ending :) But there's one huge disappointment still... that we didn't get a Chang Hee and…
i actually thought he went to ChangHee’s store where he bought the liquor in the final scene and ChangHee is the one by the counter but oh well hahaha 😂
the bonus eps are chef's kiss; the proposal was so heart warming and not cringy at all. It dialogues were so perfect and KuanLin really did an amazing job. especially when Lin Xiao Ran is thanking Nan Xiang Wan for accompanying him through his youth and all that T_T . idk if this deserves a 2nd season, the story is pretty much complete, but if they decided to make one I'll definitely watch it ❤️
The ending is sad and beautiful. I thought I'm gonna be wasting time watching this from the comments I've read on IQIYI but I enjoyed it. It's one of those beautiful open ended stories. It's not for everyone.
as for others, given my points above, i hope it can help if you’re considering to watch this drama. 😊
