I don't think we actually know that. :) By only stating Arunwat's official name, the audience is kept in the dark about his identity. But Win would know and the name clearly means something to him - coupled with the look he gives his phone when Tonkla calls him just then, it is a fair guess that it might indeed be Tonkla himself. But we don't really know that for sure at this point.

While I personally struggled with the unending drama in GAP, I found myself puzzled by a lot of your comments until I got to the "I have never been a BL watcher" part, haha. Many of your critiques are just what's normal in BL, so I think those of us who watch them stepped into this with very different expectations, though I can see where you're coming from if you're comparing it to western lgbt shows, for instance.

As for GAP's quality being so lacking that no one would want to produce a wlw-show again: surprisingly, I think very few BL shows have managed to rack up as many views as GAP so quickly on YouTube. This says very little about the success it might or might not have enjoyed in Thailand, but internationally, at least, it seems to have been an unexpected hit. So we can live in hope that this will eventually lead to shows more people can enjoy. :)

I've just watched the two uncut eps and I'm honestly loving this show?? I love the often cheesy, occasionally genuinely creepy horror vibe, I pretty much like all the characters (I have a soft spot for all three ladies on the show tbh), the main ship is really starting to grow on me (I thought Phob was a cutie since ep 1, and I'm starting to like Phat as well). The whole vibe of the show is so different from anything I've seen before in the BL genre! And for a Thai BL, the writing is pretty solid so far. I'm really enjoying this!

I was wondering the same thing. I wonder if Nueng perhaps also thought Maze's feelings were of a different nature, and that Maze wanted something from him that he couldn't give. And so he decided to give Maze space to get over it. He probably interpreted Maze keeping his distance as Maze being angry and/or needing more time to get over his feelings. But then the conversation they end up having after Nueng gets injured does make it clear that Maze sees Nueng as a brother, and so they're all right again.

Whatever the reason, I do agree they could have explained it better on the show, though!

Type was on form this ep and Gulf performed beautifully!

I agree, I really enjoyed the ep! And I would also have really (really) liked a LeoFiat kiss, haha.

My complaints this ep are all those of someone who's invested in Leo/Fiat:

- I really would have liked to see more of the fall out of the last ep before they moved on to this. (Also, you know... a kiss maybe? )
- Fiat's sudden deep regret is quite an about face from how he was before. I can make it make sense: now that he has finally found some happiness with Leo, he has the emotional space to realise what he did wrong, especially in the context of last ep, but it would have been nice to see some of that spelled out?

Leo holding Fiat's hand the whole time was freaking adorable, though. But that also very much made me want more from them. Ja looked tired imho, idk if that was intentional, but it somehow added to Leo's character, he seemed so different this ep.

I really enjoyed the ep overall. So much of the TharnType parts kind of reminded me of the special ep. Type was on form, both with his dad and with Tharn. "Explain to me in detail what you did wrong", asdlksfss, I was dying. This is the best we've seen of Type this season tbh, and Gulf did really well this ep, in my opinion. This is also hands down my fave making out scene of the season - after the problems, it felt earned. And they somehow made it feel fresh. Both Tharn and Type's parents were great, too.

I did expect them to end on a dramatic note and make us wait till next ep, haha, but omg the proposal and everything, it was so cute. I love that Type pointed out at some point that they discovered each other's annoying habits/character traits over the years, but that they still want to be together. And Type finally saying yes (I kind of love that it was in a roundabout way), pfff. I really wanna see how his dad will react at the wedding.

Probably my fave ep of the season, tbh, Even Khunpol leveled up with his "shhh it's a secret" flirting.

Yeah, Kim & Copter said in an interview there were 3 seasons planned, but I guess we'll have to wait and see if it was popular enough for a second season to work out. Fingers crossed!

I definitely assume they won't be tying up most of the storylines in the one remaining ep, but this season was so much about MarkKit that it's weird they're barely present in the last eps. I assume Phai trying to convince Kit to move in with Mark might actually lead to those two moving in together next season, so hopefully that's something we'll get to see. :)

I feel like we're supposed to feel sorry for Thanu for being caught in an impossible situation, but all I can think of is that he straight up lied to Wayu about there not being anyone else, and hmphhh. I'm starting to think Padbock was onto something.

I have such mixed feelings about Pok and Tong. They actually have good chemistry! I kinda like their dynamic! I want to really like them and it wouldn't take much to get me there, but the writers set up their push and pull dynamic in such a shoddy way. Make sense, show! Why is Tong even pushing Pok away? Is there actually a reason or is it just a random plot point meant to increase the tension between them? I did not see the twist about why Tong cheated coming, though. I like it, but damn, this pairing needs more set-up that actually makes sense.

There was definitely not enough MarkKit in this episode. Every moment they were on screen was a breath of fresh air tbh. They're not in next week's preview either, booh.

I actually enjoyed most of this ep (sue me :P). This ep reminded me how much I enjoy Gulf's acting, Techno was back and on form (yay), and I actually somewhat understand why both Tharn and Type reacted like they did (I thought Tharn was way overreacting to the kiss, to which Type had a really obvious negative reaction, but then when Tharn listed all the clues he'd picked up on, I was like... OK, that does look really sus. But if I were Type, I'd be incredibly offended, too). Not sure what next week's trailer is leading us to, but the least you could say about this ep is that it wasn't boring.

And the Leo/Fiat bit, gosh. I really wanted them to kiss, though, heh. But glad to get confirmation that Fiat was mostly just pining for Leo and damn, Fiat's intensity and Leo's face during the confrontation with Type (??? at them subtitling that song every time instead of whatever Leo is saying. That's like the third time this has happened with Leo, wtf. I'd obviously much rather know what the character is saying.)

From what I understood, Type was threatening to hurt Fiat's knee, not threatening Fiat with rape. Not that that's, you know, great, but much better than what happened in the novel.

This show sure loves its complicated side plots, lol. I mean, I actually like Tong/Pok, but still. Guess we'll have to see what sweet Sandee is up to. Mark and Kit were adorable, though!

Yeah, that's how I see Leo/Fiat, as well, thanks for putting it into words. :D I really hope they get their happy ending (in spite of Fiat making some seriously questionable choices, haha).
