Watched Word of Honor with my fam, and we all enjoyed it immensely. I was born in China and my parents moved us to the US some years ago, so please don't attack me with that "only Chinese people understand" business. We routinely discuss Chinese politics/history at home because we're all history buffs (not to mention my grandpa was a solider most of his life starting during the Cultural Revolution).

I know censorship/education in China has resulted in some strong nationalist feelings, but I hope people regain some perspective -- Millions of people visit Auschwitz-Birkenau every year, but that doesn't make them (Neo)Nazis or Nazi-sympathizers! Also the White House has housed many, many racist/sexist Presidents, but I'm still going to walk through on a tour again if given the opportunity. You can simultaneously disagree with the values an institution represented and still visit it.

Let's be honest: most tourists don't even know/care much about historical context -- they're just there for sightseeing. Sometimes I feel like these toxic Netizens act as if they're being paid to ruin lives. Zhehan is so talented. Hope his career makes a big comeback.

Title Immortality
i won’t expect too much from this, i just started the novel and from the very beginning MoRan is a douch, sex-crave…
I just finished the whole novel this morning, and I encourage you to keep reading because Mo Ran's transformation throughout the story is amazing. His character growth is one of the best I've ever read in the BL genre.
