A Multilayered Drama
CDramas are often simple but after watching this drama I changed my mind. This drama is multilayered. Politics,friendship,power struggle,revenge,romance and many more things are there.
Characterization is pretty interesting. The ML in this drama is super strong but not in the sense of physical power but in strategy and wisdom. From the beginning he possesses a clear and focused mind. FL is strong in martial arts and their chemistry is really good. Supporting characters are also good. Strong bond among main leads and the bromance is also good.
Though romance is there, it is not the main focus of the drama.But for me, it was well enough.
Plot twist is also a positive point of this drama. The whole plot is full of schemes and power struggle and excellent strategy. The way ML strategizes and lays traps is worth watching. Chen Xiao is perfect in this role, looks weak but has a dangerous brain.
For me it was a show that is worth watching, but I don't understand why the rating is this low. For those who have a little patience watch it and you will understand how good this show is.
