I thought of another one! Time jumps/ skips. The last episode of a drama jumps 5 or 10 years into the future & the main leads meet again and can finally be together. Ugh! There's never a satisfying reason for the separation either. Usually just some sort of "Noble Idiot" motive that magically resolves itself with that jump to the future. Which brings up the "Noble Idiot" trope itself... Nuff said.
A couple of biggies that come to my mind are: - I see this mostly in historical dramas, but every bodily injury results in coughing up blood. Then the character pulls themself together and keeps right on fighting... if you're coughing blood, you've already lost and should be down for the count. - Also health related - Fainting when sick. This is not a thing! Even with a fever you feel a dizzy spell and sit down. You don't FAINT! If you're fainting whenever you feel a little poorly, you probably have serious cerebral problems. See a neurologist! - And the trope that bothers me the MOST is the passing off of stalker behaviors as romantic, cute, or devoted. Stalking, following, and otherwise invading someone's personal space is NOT ROMANTIC OR CUTE!
