Great beginning but falls off later.
I want to get to the good before the bad. The cast for ML and FL was great. They had such amazing chemistry and their acting was on point. The first 10 episodes had me in a choke hold. The hate, angst, and attraction was so yummy. I adore friendships and this drama had a really funny bromance between 4 (5 if including ML). I love their interactions and they mesh well with each other. I also really like the maid and the soldier relationship (ðŸ˜). I love it when the ML isn't a spineless mama's-boy. I do like that they both standup for each other. I am just so used to the ML caving in and not doing shit when the FL is obviously being set-up.What I didn't like was everything else. The reason this fell off so much for me, was that the political parts and villains were such a bore. It feels like nothing was happening in that aspect. Meanwhile, the romance department was flourishing. I thought the random ass one-sided love triangle with the cousin was a waste of time. It doesn't add any value to the story or plot. There was no chemistry between FL and the cousin. They didn't have a lot of moments together so I don't get how he was in love with her.... The side characters (not including the cousin) was so... meh? like omg they did absolutely nothing for me.
Would I rewatch this again? Yes and no. I think I would would the beginning again if I am craving for enemies to lover. But I will absolutely not finish it again. I will watch MV or clips once in a while LOL. My rating is between a 7 or an 8. The acting and chemistry between the leads was banging. The leads carried this drama. I would have dropped this around 25-30 episodes in because everything else was not keeping my attention. Honestly, if the actors was different, I would have rated this 5 or below.

Pretty good.
Personally, I do not like the parts that had overacting. It felt very amateurish and low budget. However, the parts that didn't have it, the acting was pretty good. I love the apocalyptic dating concept. It was very fun and interesting. Plus the chemistry was pretty decent. My favorite part about this series where the girls. I think they made the show more enjoyable. I like the friendships aspect a lot.Was this review helpful to you?
Still fun after rewatching
I just rewatch this drama and why does it feel better than the first time? The chemistry between the sisters are so good. If you want good and healthy sisters/female relationships then this is for you. I watch for the sisters but also enjoy the romance as well. If you want a feel-good wholesome drama, pick this! After watching this drama, I always get the itch to watch more of these but there aren't any good ones like this. I really like the vibes of the couples. They have their own little troupes so I think almost everyone will find one they like. I wish the couples would get paired up again in the future. Might be one my favorite drama of all time...
After I watched it for the first time, I just thought it was pretty decent. But as days passed by, this drama put my in a slump. Nothing was giving me joy like watching KP MV's. If you are a dark romance girlie, you will absolutely eat this up. I obviously would not recommend this to everyone. If you are triggered by dub-con/torture... this ain't it.Let me start off by saying that the cast/screenwriters completely carried this drama. The storyline is basic af. The fact that so much was changed and adapted lets you know how much everyone elevated this. Every couple shine in their own way (different couples for different levels???). The main couple was just chef kiss. And I am not talking about the toxic consent/non-consent parts. Straight up, they have one of the best on-screen chemistry I have ever seen in an asian drama. When they kissed, it doesn't feel weird or out of place (like kissing a plastic cardboard). They played their parts so well that it's easy to get lost into. Their tension and attraction is never lacking.
This has the perfect amount of everything (humor, romance, action, etc...) without going overboard. I didn't feel bored because they pacing was pretty decent and cohesive enough. The only weakness (IMO) in the cast/acting was Barcode but understandably he was very young compared to the other cast member. However, his cuteness and innocence really shine through in Porchay. I do love KimChay chemistry/dynamic. My second favorite.
The couples are very toxic in different ways but the acting is so good. They elevated the characters and brought them to life. I cannot believe this is BIble first time acting. I am impatient waiting for his next project. Although I didn't really care for his character/romance--I see the potential.
Soundtrack and cinematography was great. I dig the color palette.
I'm gonna be real, I can rewatch this drama a couple times a year LOL.
