Yeon Woo did not have the time to fall in love with the past Tae Ha but she fell deeply in love with the present one so even if they have the same soul, they are still two different men. She did not share the same experiences with the past Tae Ha that she did with the present one.

The time she got with the present one and the chance that she had made all the difference.

When the Joseon era Kang Tae Ha was saved from being poisoned but instead died naturally, it helped the present Kang Tae Ha on a spiritual level.

His heart was working okay-ish but things worsened when Yeon Woo arrived from the past. It was to make her realize what had happened in the past and what needed to be changed to make sure that it doesn't repeat in the present.

She was sent to the future to buy her some time and make her realize what were the bad things that actually happened in the past. The deity was helping her by buying her some time so that the FL could understand what actually went wrong in the past.

Yeon Woo would have died if she wasn't sent to the future where she could witness the same fate repeating. It was only in the future that she pieced the puzzle pieces together and found out about the schemes. When the FL got to know the whole truth, she had to go back in the past because it is where she needed to make the changes so that her present can be a happy one.

It has been mentioned in the episodes that this is a repeated fate, that all the important characters had the similar fate in the past and in the present as well. The FL had to realize what this repeated connection is and then untie the knot to stop this terrible fate from being repeated which was saving the past husband from being poisoned.

She saved him from being killed because of all the schemes involved. the husband dying naturally helped untie the knot of the terrible fate and it helped the present Tae Ha on a spiritual level. His heart had started failing when Yeon Woo arrived in the future and as the deity said, "You cannot change the present until you change the past."

The little change in the past was required to make the bigger change in the future.

That name calling for the FL was in response to the fact that she marrying the modern era ML after her husband, that is the past, Joseon era ML died. And not because they were thirsting after the ML or something without even knowing why she had to do that and the things that happened that lead to all that.

Also, it wasn't just the FL for whom such comments had been posted. It happened for the other characters including the ML. But when they were called out, the simply deleted it.

Nah! After saving the past Tae Ha from poisoning, she will come back to the present Tae Ha whom she loves.

I think that the grandfather was hoping that Tae Ha would pick a nice lady from a rich family background to marry but did not expect that Tae Ha would think of a fake contract marriage. Now, he could not let Tae Ha know that he knows everything and that he had been watching Tae Ha all along that's why he remained quiet and let Tae Ha be married to Yeon Woo because he knew that it was fake and that he can get rid of Yeon Woo anytime he wants to.

But grandfather did not expect Tae Ha to fall in love with Yeon Woo. The moment grandfather begin to see the changes in Tae Ha and how close Tae Ha and Yeon Woo had become, he began getting visibly upset and telling Tae Ha to send Yeon Woo away but Tae Ha refused and Yeon Woo didn't back out either. This made grandfather furious and do all that he did.

It's easy to differentiate between people who genuinely did not like the drama and the haters.

Like when someone rants about a love triangle in The Story of Park's Marriage Contract when there is none.

And then someone called the FL Yeon Woo lustful and used other bad words to imply that she jumps from man to man.

That's a hater behavior and not someone who genuinely did not like the drama.

Also when all the other 2023 dramas were suddenly and at once were given extreme low ratings, that cannot be coincidence right.

I only meant to explain it but if it came off as bullying then again I apologize. It was not my intention. I was just trying to explain my point and I did. I am not forcing anybody to accept it or watch the drama and form a positive opinion about it.

Exactly! That is my point. People should just simply enjoy the drama they like and don't hate on other dramas. These people had made it as if this a war or something and it is utterly annoying.

I asked you if you wrote something because I am a writer myself and wanted to explain that when writing something in a limited chapters one often ends up omitting details that the readers are supposed to understand by themselves. Those things need not to be explained in details. My intention was not to offend you and if you felt that way that I am really sorry. I did not mean to.

Like if I were to write a story with the same plot, the 12 chapters long story will be written differently than a 100 chapters long one. As it is in case of webnovels, where the author does not have that limit that the dramas do.

This is a 12 episodes drama where the writers have shown Yeon Woo's struggles with modern stuff in certain scenes. But that cannot be the focus of this drama. It is not "The Daily Life of a Joseon Era Woman in the Modern World" that they will show how Yeon Woo and Sa Wol adjusted to the modern life.

The plot of the story is different from what you want to be shown. Within the given time frame, the limited number of episodes, the makers would obviously focus on important things rather than showing unnecessary stuff like when did Yeon Woo became comfortable wearing heels, or when she learned using a cell phone.

That girl had been designing and making clothes since the Joseon era and she is doing the same in the present, the only difference being the setting. In Joseon timeline she had to operate in secret but now she can do it freely. What is hard to understand about that. Also, she has Tae Ha, Mr. Hong, Tae Min, and Mi Dam to help her with the corporate stuff.

And I wonder what makes you underestimate Yeon Woo and Sa Wol's learning capabilities and adaptability. It is difficult for some but not for everybody. But then again, agreeing to the pov of a person who only watched the first two episodes and judged the whole drama is also questionable.

I don't know who is doing what but people here are really spoiling my drama watching and discussing experience. I am not blaming all of the My Demon watchers but I have seen random accounts deliberately giving other dramas low ratings with no context at all. If that wasn't enough, some even post ridiculous comments at the drama page that clearly shows that they have not watched The Story of Park's Marriage Contract at all.

See, I absolutely disliked My Demon, couldn't continue watching it so I dropped it. But I don't go around talking about it and saying that it is bad or worst or whatever. I didn't like it, that is my opinion, my preference, I am not obligated to like it because someone else does. And I cannot and would absolutely not force my opinion on anybody else.

I only wanted to have a nice platform to discuss the drama that I love but whatever is going around with these fake accounts is totally spoiling my experience!

That is because of the repeated fate connection. They are not just the same characters, they are reincarnations of their past selves who are tied in the same fate as they had in the past. It is like the fate is repeating itself and the FL has to stop it from repeating because it means that ML would die if nothing is changed.

I think it maybe because they are now focusing on the mystery and fantasy part of it more than the comedy and romance. Like the tone got serious and so.

For me it is still as exciting as it had been in beginning. Also, after watching the preview of the 10th episode I am even more excited for the last two episodes.

Now this is getting boring. This is not the first time that such a comment has been posted and how many times shall it be explained that not everything, especially unnecessary details like you are asking for are not shown in the dramas. They are self explanatory. She had her own struggles but not everything was shown because that is not necessary for the storyline at all.

Sa Wol was given the job by the same woman who hit her, Sa Wol tricked her into getting a job because she has always been that smart. Also, ML continued searching for clues about the FL and if she is truly from the past. You would have known if you would have actually seen the episodes.

What you are demanding by calling it a "plot" are actually the most unnecessary scenes that are not even needed for the plot.

That dead body was not Yeon Woo's. They had to show a dead body to receive the rewards so they must have killed a random woman and only damaged her face so that she won't be recognized.

Also, Yeon Woo will be travelling back in time before her wedding to Tae Ha happened so as to save Tae Ha from getting poisoned at first place.

I don't think so. This situation happened in the webtoon too.

Yeon Woo will change her and Tae Ha's past by saving Tae Ha from getting poisoned and after that she will go back to the future. Your theory is also a possibility but I still wish that Yeon Woo will go back to the future like she did in the webtoon.

That is what confused me. Grandfather Kang is actually evil and he is indeed just a little bit more evil than the stepmom Min while her coworker Hwang is a victim of evil grandfather's schemes who helped stepmom for his own revenge.
