So... Contractual marriage is when they marry for purposes that are benefitial for both of them and that have nothing to do with love. That doesn't need to involve manipulation or obsessive behaviour (which is the case with this one). I haven't watched any other drama with this kind of manipulation, but even if there were more, it doesn't mean that it's right.

So it being fiction doesn't make it fine. You know, if the drama had addressed the manipulation part as a bad thing, I would be completely fine with it, but they ROMANTICIZE IT, make it look fine too, and easily forgivable. This is a dangerous message to be spreading out there. There is no moral playbook here, manipulating a woman into marrying you is bluntly wrong. The theme or topic is not the problem, the message is.
