A second season might be released! On Yue365 (A Chinese website), there has been a second page made for a second season! The page says 'This is a sweet favorite drama and the second in a series of "Rumored Chen Qianqian". It is reported that the drama is currently being planned, and the actor information will be updated one after another, so stay tuned!' So if you were like me and slightly dissatisfied with the slightly rushed ending, it may be because it is an open ending? :)
I loved his acting in Intense Love and after finishing TROTAR I can't seem to get enough of his acting, I miss him and his characters! I hope to see him having more lead roles in the future, I'm definitely keeping my eye on his future works :) If you want to see him while we wait for more of his dramas, you should follow him on Weibo, he posts often :)
She is by far my favorite Chinese actress, I've been watching all her dramas since Oh My Emperor due to my love of Time Travel dramas :) She is so young and only debuted 2 years ago when she was 19! I can't wait to see how she improves and see her future dramas!
I'm a big fan of Zhao Lu Si and Ryan Ding, I've also been watching Sheng Ying Hao since his debut in 2018, so I was happy to hear that they would all be in a drama together, it was definitely worth the wait! I'm a huge fan of these types of plot lines and Lu Si always finds her way into the being the FL :). This was such a bubbly, funny and adorable drama and I loved every moment of it, I have never seen any dramas that go into feminism and equality, they approached it in an amusing yet adorable way, it was great! I highly suggest this drama along with it's beautiful OST! I hope I can see Ryan and Lu Si together again :)
I'm loving this drama so far, they have such a sweet romance and their chemistry is great!And as a huge lover of OST's, i'd also like to add that this one is so beautiful, not only do i love the songs but the instrumentals really complete each scene :) I also love the support roles, Yin Zi (Lu Ao's attendant) played by Zhou Geng Yu is my current favorite, along with Prince Ji played by Li Ge Yang(I've watched his other dramas and i think he is a very talented actor). This is Zhou Geng Yu's first drama and i really hope that he can star in more dramas in the future and maybe get a main role :) This drama is nearing its end, i'm definitely going to miss it, it is definitely not a perfect drama but it is enjoyable.

I would say so, yes. But the drama is also about her revenge and the royal harem in general. The women in the drama are fighting for the favor of the emperor. I see that you watched The Story of Ming Lan, if you enjoyed that drama you may like this one, the romance and the main female leads are very similar. Both dramas are more of a slice of life with strong and smart female leads :)
It's more of a love square. Three men like her, she has feelings for two of the three. One i would say is more of a first love (Doesn't end up well) whereas the second is the one she truly ends up loving and being happy with :). Also, with her first love, multiple women like him, causing a lot of trouble for her.
