For me the level of the mystery needs to be up a little, just very very little. But I'd like another point to your review: This show doesn't have any silly or ridiculous side stories.
How the murderer got scot-free to until almost the very end can only be summed up as "botched investigation"…
This is the nearest show to be a big hit I've ever seen so far. The elements of the mystery are already perfect, it's just how they resolve the case seems unfavorable. For me it's a little bit too easy, especially for a case that has been dragged for 11 episodes.
They haven't clearly explain how Da Wit became a judge. He only has a high school degree, so he worked his ass to become a judge... by doing what? How?
But I'd like another point to your review: This show doesn't have any silly or ridiculous side stories.
And they never replace her position. She could come back anytime in fact.
Yet they choose to throw themselves instead with that final two episodes.
I feel betrayed.
