Iām not even joking⦠Episode 26 hit me AGAIN šš
Mrs. Fanās fighting scene + that heartbreak?? I felt EVERYTHING like it was my first time watching⦠and this is my 4th rewatch!! How is that even possible?? Iāve never been this addicted to a drama before. Itās not just good ā it stays with you, it lingers, it satisfying š At this point I donāt even want to move on⦠I just want to live in this drama forever.
I haven't watched the whole drama yet ... But my insta feed is full of them ... I have scene bts of the drama…
Welcome to rabbit hole š¤£, Iām down bad as I started watching their BTS and wanting more and more .. I shouldnāt doing this and I knew consequence as I heard that linghe can be in and out to his character. Their chemistry itās are to see in the industry we could just HOPE that after the warm success of the drama agency allowed this two to work together for the sake of šø.. nothing set as stone as currently drama still HOT topic.
This drama is still lingering in my soul⦠I genuinely canāt move on š The BTS clips are NOT helping either.
Tian Xiwei really gained so many fans here her charm and acting just pull you in so effortlessly. And Zhang Linghe? This feels like a breakthrough. Seeing his softer yet masculine side, especially as a total āloser in love,ā adds so much depth compared to his past roles. Even the side characters and villains brought spice, making everything more engaging. Itās warm, balanced, not overly intense, exactly my kind of drama.
It was way back 2022 interview from him and the written comment under Weibo accounts when one in the comment section asking his recommendation , He said something watch āNLBā then fans is it good he replied just watch š
It was posted in tiktok yesterday, but Iām not good at TikTok it just happened saw it there lol I canāt find the account š
So Zhang Linghe is actually a fan of New Life Begins??? AND he recommended it TWICE??? Do you guys realize what this means⦠that drama was literally one of the biggest introductions to Tian Xiweiās acting, charm, and visuals. Like her soft but sharp acting style? HER EXPRESSIVE EYES?? Thatās where it hit for so many of us. And now knowing Linghe watched it, appreciated it, and even recommended it more than once⦠Iām not okay š The fact that he saw her talent back then and now theyāve worked together?? This feels like full circle energy. Chemistry didnāt just happen out of nowhere⦠THIS MAN KNEW. I swear this makes their pairing even more special now ā¦š
Iām NOT ready to move on š This drama is going to linger with me for a long, long time⦠I already seeing myself rewatching this in years! Because letās be real ! this kind of chemistry? It doesnāt come often. Itās once in a lifetime. I need more from them
The haters are now arriving to pull down the overall rating *sigh*
To be honest, I donāt know how some people watch dramas š Do they pause and go, āOh, it should be thisā or āhe shouldāve done thatā? Lol At the end of the day, weāre just viewers. As long as a drama makes you feel joy and comfort, thatās what really matters. And honestly, this drama deserves its praise, not just because of the actors or actresses, but because of the overall outcome and how it made us feel. That lingering feeling⦠wanting more, feeling like even 40 episodes isnāt enough. This is rather SPEAK volume for me.
I havenāt been enjoy and engaged to a drama as much as I do with POJ.
I'm still on Lin and tonight will be Netflix's last episode, which means the last episode for me to download. I'm sobbing. I'll be missing the whole team, especially my main couple. Can they pretty please collab another drama š
The first half wasnāt just about the village the halfway shift into complexity is actually what won me over.
I loved how the story unfolded while still keeping the romance at the center. No matter how complex things got, it always circled back to their love and that balance is rare.
And the ending? Honestly satisfying. Everyone ended up where their dreams led them, and it felt earned.
These days, itās hard for a 40-episode drama to stay consistent all the way through balancing complexity, pacing, and still satisfying viewers is not easy.
But this one did it for me.
And the chemistry is the PEAK.
Not just the leads, even the side characters it all worked so beautifully.
I donāt really understand the rush toward the ending or why some people feel it fell off halfwayā¦
Honestly, the main leadsā ending was beautiful and yes,STEAMY TOO. That alone felt like a perfect payoff for everything we invested in from the beginning.
As someone whoās a total romance sucker, this drama delivered. 40 episodes in, and I was still hooked right to the end and more importantly, satisfied.
This felt like a true romance-focused story. No matter what was happening around them, it always came back to their loveāand that consistency is rare these days.
Dramas like this are honestly hard to find now. You might sacrifice certain elements, but the emotional connection and chemistry? Completely worth it.
Marketing aside, this kind of storytelling still wins for me.
