From Ep 30 to 40 I actually started liked the ML, maybe because he suffered a lot😂. Loved the cast so much, the four of them did a wonderful job and Hua Shu too sadly. Would be watching out for their next projects 🫶🏽

P.S After more than 4yrs of using MDL, I finally opened an account because of this drama. Needed to vent from all the peacock🦚 drama

About Hua Shu's part, I feel they did a pretty good job building up the fact that she really cares about her clan, so it was actually well executed.
Like you said, she had nothing else to fight for.

The ML should have taken lessons from Lan Feng on how to be a ruler and lover 💀
Even though Lan Feng was righteous and would not cover for Hua Shu's family. He still managed to protect Hua Shu when it mattered the most.
