Ufff come on atleast these are conflict we knew were coming and it's significant for the development of couple…
I agree with you, the "conflicts" were just thrown 2gether and it was a trash ending. But technically, that conflict didn't come out of nowhere. All Sararwat's relationships and, for sure, his "first love" caused insecurity in Tine through much of the drama. It was obvious that first love would show-up eventually because Tine brought it up so often. But I agree, it should not have been at the last minute. And the conflict wasn't really a conflict.

How is it so far?
this was the best of all 12 episodes so far. I am more into the side couples, so most of the time is spent on them. bohn and duen just don't match well at all to me.

What a crappy ending. Why didn't Wat push her away as soon as he saw Tine and say, "Babe she just grabbed me, I love you. Let's get outta here". We all watched the show, what's with the reminiscing for 20 min on scenes we have already seen. I would have given it a 9 before the ending, I guess it's an 8 now.

I wonder why the director thought the actor that played Gun could stop people in mid sentence to say how attractive or muscular he is, weird. I also don't like when BL dramas make it seem as if an "attractive" guy can just walk up to anyone and get what they want. I didn't think it was as bad as others did, I gave it a 7 mainly because the actor that played Bar did a good job acting and he played his character well given what he had to work with. I watched for him.

I HAVE NO WORDS FOR THIS DRAMA IT JUST GETS BETTER AND BETTER AND MORE ADDICTIVE AFTER EVERY EACH EPISODE
I wish I could see what you are seeing. I was so excited about this and it took 2 days just to finish episode one. The story, and scenes, are all over the place.

I love this show. Specially the first 7-8 episodes. But there are three things that I don't like:1- the saliva…
I agree with you, but I will add all the noises Wat makes. He is always clearing his throat or sniffing or making some bodily noises when the camera is at a close-up or right after he speaks to someone. I believe it's just the character they want to portray, very masculine, but we already got it, he's prolly the most masculine BL character I have seen. I wish he would take some allergy medicine now.

Guys, please stop watching the illegal links. I spent an hour trying to find the official channel today because…
I agree with you, and I don't avocate doing things wrong, but the Network made a huge error by having their official YouTube channel 2 episodes behind. They should release the episodes to everyone at the same time, so their is no desire for people to watch elsewhere; GMM is doing that with 2gether, as they do with all their shows. The views for My Engineer's official YouTube is in the 10s of thousands, but the views fort 2gether's official YouTube channel is in the millions of views. I doubt My Engineer would get millions of views, but the channel would probably be in the 100s of thousands. Holding people accountable is right, but they have to be smart about it as well. In America, movie theatres are closed, but all the companies are releasing the movies early online to avoid people illegally viewing them, that's being smart about it.

Only 8.5 for a Thai BL? Is it really bad?Damn I have waited two years for this one, now I'm afraid to watch it…
I don't know if you have begun watching it yet, but if I had to rate it now, it would be in the 6 or 7 range. It's very unoriginal, but it may be the storyline that gets views. The boy that all girls love falls for the dorkyboy. He will eventually get the dorky one to fall for him. All the while the group of "straight" friends start falling for each other and breaking into couples. Then the 2nd most popular male also falls for the dorky boy and their will be a competition of who wins him. One of the best parts of watching is the pace. It'sgoing so fast it seems like it will be lots of conflicts and drama. I do not think people will have trouble figuring out the plot.

unfortunately the genre is incredibly popular, so it's not all that surprising.
lol no sarcasm. I do not think everyone needs to have the same opinions or believe the same things. After reading your comments, I was interested in reading more about what you thought, that's all.

If it's fiction and doesn't hurt anyone (as you mention), you're saying adults should be able to enjoy movies depicting bestiality, child rape, molestation, etc.? Do you draw the line anywhere?

I I don't think you should expect realism in a BL, even more if it is a comedy one, real life is boring xD I like…
exactly. girls may see a cute, romantic, loving fantasy from males (because they don't see this in real life), but males can see a glimpse of what they went through in high school or as a college freshman, so it's not fantasy. just different perspectives.

I'm sorry but can I ask how is it unrealistic? All the scenes on Episode 1 were actually pretty adorable, apart…
What you said makes sense, that's why I said my view will probably change once more episodes have been shown. I was just going on my initial reaction to episode 1. Since I am gay and have had experiences shown in many many many of the storylines of BLs, it's not fantasy to me usually lol. Ask some of your gay or bi male friends, most of these storylines from BLs are so accurate to real life . I like fantasy, but it's cool to watch and say 'Oh that happened to me' or 'hmm...that's funny or that's romantic, I want that to happen to me'.

real life is boring? lol. I tend to think if someone is bored, it's because they are boring. You can say dnt expect realism out of any genre that isn't based on a true story then because it's all made for entertainment. I read your review on Sotus: The Series and I quote, "...they deliver all the feelings in an incredible realistic way" and "...the love story is finally a realistic one (I was so tired of the love at first sight of movies and drama..)". I agree with your review 100%. Back to this drama, I didn't say this drama was unlikeable, I just pointed out, like you have in your reviews before, that a relatable, realistic drama is very desirable to watch.

I'm sorry but can I ask how is it unrealistic? All the scenes on Episode 1 were actually pretty adorable, apart…
I think the scenes are adorable too and I will continue to watch the drama, but the storyline is what I mean is unrealistic and cheesy (so far). First I will say Green is not stalking Tine, like many people are saying in the comments. When someone stalks you, you don't know where they are and don't see them; you find clues they were around you. Green is harassing Tine. So one gay guy is romantically harassing the most popular group of straight guys on campus (huh). Their solution to the problem is to get their friend to pretend he is dating someone (4 or 5 straight guys cannot say no to a gay guy that's harassing them...huh). They choose another of the most popular guys in school, who they do not know, and harass him (huh). When you see Tine and Sarawat interact though, it's like they already like each other and are flirting (huh)...none of this makes sense or would happen in real life. I have watched so many BLs and the storylines at least are realistic for the most part and could happen in real life (minus body swapping storylines, reincarnation storylines, etc.) Of course, this is just my opinion of episode 1 and I am sure things will probably change. I will continue watching because I do like cheesy and adorable sometimes haha.

I agree with you but I feel that it's not only the actors but also the production team who adapt/direct BL who…
Your points make the most sense of why actors may want to distance themselves from these roles. They constantly have to do the 'fan service', holding hands, fake kissing and hugging, dry humping, eating candy or blowing on paper to see if they accidentally kiss, etc. etc. They have to constantly explain that they are not gay and it's just a role to interviewers, they don't get invited to mainstream talk shows or variety shows, etc. The teens playing heterosexual roles don't do all that with their female co-stars. I think in that country, playing a gay/ bi role, is definitely a quick stepping stone into acting. They also tend to get the boys young, 16-24, so it really doesn't matter to the boys because they are excited to get a role and so much attention so quickly. Once they get older, mature, etc., they are concerned for their career (they want more roles at to keep acting). You don't see that many actors playing a gay character in a lead at 30 (some do obviously). As a gay guy, I have no problems with actors playing a role, then after soul searching, decide they are done playing those types of roles. In any other instances actors can make a decision like that (playing or not playing a role again), but BL fans like to label the actors in a negative light. I may act in a heterosexual role, but I would not want to spend my career constantly in heterosexual roles; if I did an interview i would probably say, it was fun playing that straight guy, but I do not want to do that anymore. No one would complain. i doubt people would get upset if a gay guy said he was tired of playing straight roles and only wanted to do gay roles from now on.
