Sorry, but this Eric Seo character is a waste of time for an actor as talented as Kim Bun
I was actually thinking that Eric has actually felt like a real character finally the past couple weeks, I'm glad he's got some sort of development.

Freakin heck that was painful to watch. But this is one time where it feels like this kind of development actually makes sense with where the characters were at. It was inevitable. Both of them were treating the symptoms without treating the cause. Neither of them have really addressed their deeper issues so they both just shut down.

Mechoori feels suffocated by having someone care about him because he refuses to forgive himself. He is never gonna earn absolution by ignoring his own happiness to take care of everyone else, he can only give that to himself, and he needs to realize and accept that.

Yejin needs to come to terms with what happened with her parents and stop blaming herself or her dad for her mom abandoning them.

I really want them to work through this together but honestly when two people have their deepest shame triggered it's almost impossible to open up right away and work through it esp if it's with someone you feel very guilty towards like Mechoori does towards Yejin. I think a little time apart will help them gain some clarity, and then I hope they come back together and are able to actually talk through it like adults, or something will force them to have to make a choice one way or the other. PLEASE don't stretch this out over an entire week, like an episode is enough, thanks.

This drama is literally what happens when a palace romance gets locked in a wine cellar with Tumblr fanfiction,…
This review was more entertaining than the drama itself. You captured a lot of truths here, I feel sooo similarly about everything you said but couldn't put it into words. Please watch to the end and update this review I must read your final thoughts.

Honestly, I’m kind of worried — it’s been like 3 or 4 K-dramas in a row where LJW keeps picking bad scripts.…
I get the feeling LJW picks roles entirely based on the premise and character description, cause on paper his character in last summer (twins with a dark secret) and impossible heir (one half of a broken revenge bromance) seem interesting and challenging. But lord this man needs to read the entire script before committing.

I don't have high expectations looking at the writer's other works...
Luckily the director is good, which can make an okay script turn into a good show.

So honestly the Plot Description gives very boring and basic vibes,BUT after 1st teaser I'm cautiously excited…
yeah the description feels like about 10 dramas that have come out in the past year but everyone is saying the source material is great so I'm more excited now.

This was my fav ep so far-- all the funny village moments and random love pairings, I laughed so hard when Mechoori screamed about her lips in charades. I really appreciated how organic the last scene felt, no big dramatic confessions, just the two of them trying to find the courage to express how they really feel.

I'm loving Ye Jin's character arc. Chae Won Bin has been very charming in this role and I've been rooting from her from the start. You really understand how much she needed someone like Mechoori in her life, and him bringing her to his little village and creating a grounded and peaceful space for her knowing it was what could heal her is just so quietly loving.

I feel bad for Eric. He always has that smile on his face, even when he's upset, and now seeing how much of a b--- his sister is I just want him to find happiness for himself. He has this fantasy of him and YeJin he can't let go of and he's just going to keep getting hurt.

This is the nice part of the drama before the inevitable fallout before the final week so I'mma try and enjoy it while it lasts lol

This butthurt b*tch (@Karma aka @Daheeverse) blocked me. So I'll just leave my reply here. She changed her name…
Honestly, just block them. I used to get all riled up when I saw hater comments cause it's frustrating when people come to a show just to say the same criticisms over and over again, and I'd feel like I needed to respond and defend the show, but now I just block negative people like that and it's more peaceful.

Title Filing for Love Spoiler
What makes Ki Jun so charming is that he is both earnest and self-assured. There's nothing cringier than a clingy insecure dude who who can't leave the FL alone, but this is not that at all. He knows what he feels, and he can read how she feels, and is going to honor that truth and act accordingly. The kiss, him deciding to see if there's more between them, admitting he was jealous, saying he likes her, trying to find out if she wants the same thing --this is what a sensitive, confident man looks like.

The 2FL is useless. Not only pining after a married man who doesn't like her and bringing it up awkwardly to him at every possibility, she also tried to mark her territory on Ji Kun when she doesn't even like him anymore and he's being nice enough to let her stay at his place? She is genuinely trash and I really don't understand why she's even in this drama.

The 2ML doesn't make sense as a character. The entire drama he's shown a high level of respect and self control towards every single person, even people he hates, even people who have treated him terribly, except he suddenly turns into a controlling, physically dominating asshole just for the FL? I could totally see him showing more passion or emotion or anger around her, being more animated, etc, but breaking things, grabbing her against her will, the violence and possessiveness just reads as poor writing and trying to fit him into the jealous, toxic ex trope and somehow make his feeling seem more "real" or something to add drama. It's dumb.

I would love if this show focused wayyy less or not at all on the second leads, there's already enough conflict between the leads with the 800 foot walls In Ah has up. I am only watching this for them and the audit team, I love all their interactions.

the main leads have chemistry but ughh hae sun and jaewook have such great chemistry too, i hope they get their…
Jae wook is one of my favs, but am I the only one who doesn't feel him and the FL have any chemistry here? I think it's because they're both cold, detached types, idk I just don't feel it.

ML is a pathetic simp.
That's just the patriarchy talking hon. A man who doesn't deny how he feels and is confident enough to put his heart on the line? that's what we call a real man

IJY looks like she is having a blast. She is so fully committed, and I can’t think of many other actresses that could pull the character off so well. I genuinely love every moment we spend with her.

HNJ is bringing so much flare and personality to a role that feels like it could have been way more flat as written. His little quirky expressions and rapidfire melodic dialogue are so oddly charming, and I genuinely love every scene he’s in also.

The two of them together are dynamite. So excited for next week already.

Both ML and FL have an explosive chemistry haha. More violence than romance. But chaos I love it.
riight? The fact that the ML grabbed another flower and went to town vs just walking away says all we need to know about what their relationship will be like.

SOLID opening for episode 1. Honestly, I just cannot with the pretty shots of pretty people drinking poison in…
Heo Nam Jun is sooo different here than I'm used to, he has really made the ML such a vibrant and fun character. I feel he really was wasted on all those nice guy second lead roles.
