He's not the main focus here. It's Yang Zi's XY followed by Zhang Wan Yi's CX who is the main male character. But I guess you're only here for the romance/shipping and not the overall story?

After the recent episode, comments popping up criticizing Deng Wei and blaming him for the supposed lack of chemistry is funny considering the timing. I think some people are taking the shipping way too seriously lol. All 4 male leads are delivering their roles well and the chemistry is good all around, which is pretty rare imo. But I'm most impressed by Yang Zi. Was not a fan of her cute roles before, but she is absolutely killing it here.
