This was amazing! There's no major love story, but what you do get is an engaging story and an unconventional hero (the guy is a walking meme) that constatly makes you wonder what crazy thing he's gonna do next, plus a whole bunch of his quirky sidekicks. Female characters are smart and well rounded (and none of them are fighting over a guy!), the villain is hot and also funny, what else do you need lol. You will not like it if you're not a fan of office dramas, bromance, fun and life in general ☺️☺️
Very entertaining movie! Action packed with an unexpected comic touch, and there's no melodrama to drag things down. Just Ma Dong Seok at his best, bitch-slapping bad guys while being hilarious. 9/10. (for those of you wondering - the movie is violent , but a lot of it's done off-screen, it's never showing the viewer too much)
What happened with those last 2 episodes?? They were total mess - it was hard to keep track wtf is going on and they completely ruined the drama for me. They had 16 eps to develop and wrap up this interesting and original story, but instead they focused on repetitive and irrelevant shit, and then tried to cram all the important stuff into last couple of episodes. This coud have easily been a masterpiece with its premise, dark and creepy tone and great performances, but IMO, it's ruined by lazy writing and wasting great characters (like Hong So Rin and Dong Cheol).
DROPPED. The guy basically bullies the girl into liking him. She can't have any male friends, actually, she's not allowed to even talk to a guy if he's not family. She can't wear what she wants because he hates it and says people are "side-eyeing" her. I get thet he's the jerk chaebol heir type and maybe he'll change his nasty behaviour towards the end or whatever, but this is way too much. All I could think about is how I would knock him TF out
I had a blast watching this. It's a perfect mix of funny and heartwarming moments (and a few sad ones too, but it's never heavy. Rather than that, this drama somehow finds the way to deliver serious issues on a emotional yet lighthearted way). I was completely drawn in by the quirky characters, hilarious situations, romance and... momance? the moms are a hoot ;) Oh you know what else was funny? Pyo Na Ri's outfits. I mean, some of the stuff they put on her, now that's comedy gold right there. The cast was perfect. I just can't help but love Gong Hyo Jin, even though I can't stand it when she acts like a doormat in her roles, there's something about her so charming and relatable to the dork in me. I def had the second lead syndrome at first, but our arrogant lead guy has a way of sneaking up to you, even though it was still satisfying to watch him crash and burn, by that I mean when the titular jealousy hits him, and boy does it hit him hard lol. Don't give up on this one just because it's confusing at the beginning, sit back and enjoy, you're in for a treat.
This drama has the best characters ever! Smart and fierce FL who'll stop at nothing to protect her daughter, the lady was kicking ass and taking names. I need more dramas with heroines like that. Then there's the ML, tough guy/smartass with a heart of gold (even though there's no romance here, I could see hearts shooting from his eyes in certain someone's direction *wink*). Little Han Saet Byul, ("Saet Byul-ah!" is now stuck in my head forever lol) is just adorable. The entire cast did an amazing job. I didn't give it 10/10 because of overly complicated story. There is such a thing as too much twists and turns. More than once I was left wondering wtf is going on, but everything falls into place eventually. Also, the ending... I don't really mind it that much, but I understand the frustration. I wasn't really expecting it to end with a musical number, sunshine and rainbows, but the ML definitely deserved a better.
if you can get past the ridiculous premise, you'll end up watching a cute and funny show. Male lead = cuteness overload! Some of you may not like him at first since he's not your typical pretty boy, but I can guarantee you'll fall in love with his sweet character and his antics. Also, his best friend is hilarious, I was crying with laughter every time he spoke. Amy is the only character I didn't like, there's just something about her that irks me.
Lovely, feelgood web drama with wonderful OST and scenery. Watched it for So Ji Sub, that man is a dream to watch. Don't expect any crazy drama here though, just short and sweet romance you can binge within 2-3- hours
