This was super fun. Kim Nam Gil as a Robin Hood like figure and his wacky bandits with bad hair days (years?), righteus pirates and their badass pirate queen, evil pirate captain with his villain laugh & villainy crew. oh and some soldiers too led by this angry dude with a poor mustache and an eyepatch - all after the same thing. It was crazy. I got my rum ready and can't wait to watch this again. 8.5/10
It took a while for this one to get me hooked, 7 or 8 episodes. I kept watching just because of the cute leads and their funny bickering. But then the drama kind of turned itself around into a laugh-out-loud hilarity, romantic shenanigans, feel-good OST and also, a fantastic ending! So, I don't mind closing an eye to uninteresting second leads and a reckless FL because this was just SO much fun.
Funniest thing I've seen in a while, I was crying with laughter to the whole accidental hero thing. Love the leads, the premise, fast pace and I'm always up for a great female villain, so keep it up, Boss Lady. Fingers crossed for this to stay awesome til the end.

Well, this was... not good. I've finished it only because I'm a basic bitch who thinks So Ji Sub is hot and will watch anything he's in, but maybe it's time for me to let go. At least til he picks a good project. I've seen people here calling Terius a masterpiece, and I'm wondering if we've seen the same drama?? The spy part was so incredibly lame; now those are some inept spies, I tell ya. And the plotholes, plotholes everywhere... The writers must think we're a bunch of idiots. And no, I did not take it seriously, and it still kinda sucked. Also, the chemistry between the leads was lacking IMO, but the KIS crew was a hoot.
The first episode was ridiculous and I loved every minute of it!! Female lead is stupid - and I'm talking stupid with a cape; but she is absolutely hilarious to watch (I do hope the girl grows a spine). Also, her chemistry with Mr. Sexy Voice is off the charts, and those two are actually pretty cute. The cinematography seriously needs to tone it down with the light and brightness, everything about it screams LOOK HOW CHEERFUL AND HAPPY THIS IS DAMMIT, ARE YOU BLIND YET? And that fight scene... I had to replay it to enjoy that masterpiece a few more times lmao :) Anyway, don't take it too seriously, it's over the top, but a lot of fun; I know I feel like this could be my new gulity pleasure after Marriage, Not Dating. Yay!
Disappointment. Yeah, it does have some cool action sequences and crafty camerawork, and that's about it. Also, this thing jumps from one genre to another, and what starts out as a violent action flick, soon wanders to k-drama romance territory, then it's a melodrama, but also a spy thriller and... Oh, whatever. Shaky storytelling, disorienting flashbacks, whole lot of daddy issues and a lead character I didn't really care about. I guess I'll just watch Lady Vengeance again.
Quite watchable, campy and light-hearted rom-com, but the FL and her vocal cords... Oh my god, constant screaming, flapping around hysterically, crazy eyes and exaggerating everything to the point it looks like it's a life or death issue. But somehow, despite all of that, as the drama progresses she grows into this heartfelt and relatable character with actual depth and I found myself rooting for her. I also liked the portrayal of a strong female friendship, I feel I didn't see enough of that in Dramaland, somehow the focus is always on bromance. As far as the love story goes, the chemistry is nice, they are super cute and all that, but they aren't exactly the most exciting couple on my list. I really enjoyed 3/4 of the drama. The rest didn’t have a whole lot of plot left, but it's still worth watching.
I was really excited for this. First eps were good, I love the leads and the story seemed interesting enough, but it's a bit boring now. The romance kind of came out of nowhere. And I know that villains gotta vil and all that, but that chairman dude is straight up annoying.
I've never seen a cdrama before, I don't like school dramas and I'm def too old for this, BUT here I am, couple of episodes in, and this is the cutest shit I've ever seen. ❤
a lot of people seem to like this movie a lot, and I did too, at least for the first 30 mins or so. After that it started to go downhill; so many exaggerated and borderline absurd plot twists, more than I can bear to take this movie seriously. Meh.
