i feel like the only thing the tumour added to the story was him beating up the bullies more aggressively and…
UGH THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I WANTEDDD AS WELL!! I can't believe you also came up with the Wonseok cheating on Jaebeom thing i thought it was just me akjshfajk we have the same braincells i see!! The messy gay drama would have been so fun to watch *fanfic writing mode activated*
i am pro lgbt. i am very supportive of them. and i would much rather be "not okay" than be homophobic. also side note, there is nothing wrong with either members or allies of the community. what's wrong is the mentality and mindsets of people like you. it's someone else's life, let them be happy at least if all youre gonna do is cry about it.
I'm specifically confused how Jaebeom & Osung became friends with Wonseok & Sejin, the show never really explained…
WAAA, I commented the same thing about the friendship of the 4 boys on your original comment, before i read this one of yours!! i thought i was the only one who was curious about how they became friends, i wish it was explained a little more. i was dead serious convinced that we would get some flashbacks from the polaroid photos we saw.
Bro...idk if Osung was gay, a psychopathic over-obsessive friend, or both. He was defo in love with Jabeom lmao my personal headcanon is that he lied to his dad about Jihyun so he wouldnt have to come out to him jakjshjad.
ALSO OMG SAMEEEE i loved their bromance!! It was so wholesome. I wish JB went to therapy instead of jail i mean he got punished for something he didnt even do??? and where were his parents in all of this??
I really liked this show in the beginning to middle but towards the end it wasted some of its potential. So many…
fr i thought they would explain a bit more, or maybe i am just an overthinker, bc i wished to see more flashbacks from when the 4 boys were friends, and how did everything go wrong? it was like osung suddenly turned evil when in fact he used to be friends with the 3 of them before...anyway.
also yes korea is still kind of conservative, which is why most lgbtq shows and scenes are only available for watching on OTT platforms, like this one. they will 100% NOT air this on cable tv lol
I loved the show A LOT, but the ending lacked... something? Maybe I was craving for Gi Osung's police father to…
Ooh i like your headcanon! But then the question as to how Sa Jungyeong and team found out he has two dads remains. i would have to say though most gay people have straight parents so i guess it's okay if both him and his dad are gay, plus he's not the only gay kid, there's also Wonseok, who has very conservative Christian parents, yk.
can anyone please tell me does female lead has any action scene in this drama. Thank you.
she has this one really badass scene where she beats up a bully and it's soooo satisfying to watch (also omg i love your profile pic!! arisu my beloved)
Please can you suggest me anyother drama like this because i am in love with the cast and story 🥹
well that's what the recommendations page is is for ;) but still,
1. I am currently watching Solomon's Perjury and i am surprised at how similar it is to this show!! It is also about a school murder that takes place during the winter, and the guy who plays Jaebeom (Seo Jihoon) is the male lead in that, and guess what? He is also the first to discover the body of the dead student! The main leads in the show are totally Sooheon and Chanmi vibes. There's loads of teen angst as well just like in ROO.
2. There is also Extracurricular, I just started the first episode but i can already tell it will be one of these dark high school dramas. Plus a lot of people suggested it so I think we'll both like this one.
3. Another one I'm watching right now is The Glory. The younger version of the bully in this show is played by Chanmi's actress (Shin Yeeun) herself! And she's the total opposite of her character here. The main female lead however is a baddie, she has trauma but she's genius enough to plan a whole revenge scheme over the years for what they did to her.
4. Weak Hero Class 1. The male lead in this gives me Sooheon vibes mainly because of how he gets revenge on bullies. But while Sooheon uses physical force, Shieun uses more psychological manipulation first and then physical force (and when he does it gets pretty brutal but you will love this show!)
5. My Name! This one is about a girl who loses her father to murder and wants revenge. Very similar to ROO, the only difference being that it's her dad, not her brother. They're both very similar characters too, Chanmi and Jiwoo. Both have the same MBTI and the same comfort spot (the jetty near the ocean), idk, just a little detail i thought was cute. Altough i think Jiwoo is more badass than Chanmi because she trained for years before becoming a person who kills.
I couldn't believe that L died so early. After this happening, I got low interesting to it. I've a little hope…
he didnt sacrifice himself, he isnt that kind of a person. mikami saw him with the eyes and that's when his death was inevitable. i just wish he died after giving the police proof (he was about to do it mannn ugh)
