i agree!! i feel like L's death was also executed better in the drama than in the anime/manga, i just think that he died in a better and more painful way, fighting his opponent hand to hand rather than rem killing him in the anime, that made me angry more than sad. but in the drama like u said, it was definitely more emotional

i also wish the writing for arisu didnt go off the rails this season, but dont you guys think youre being a little too harsh?? bring one character down in order to appreciate another. it's always like this. you can simply express your love for a character without comparing them. arisu is still smart but probably not as smart as in season 1 because he's a highly emotional person and has trauma, others dont even express themselves that easily

in terms of the show yes, but realistically i dont think anyone would make it back tbh. i dunno, chishiya has way too much plot armour. like i get that he is smart but sometimes it feels like he is doing magic. eg knowing the jail people lied to him is one thing, but somehow magically guessing the correct suit on him?? how?
