Yeah maybe. I think fans of the original are too attached that they can’t view the remake with fresh eyes. The director told the cast not to watch the original drama so they put their own spin on the characters. Nam Siheon is not a direct copy of the OG character.

Agree to disagree. AHS was such a scene stealer, especially in the second half. I’ve not watched the original drama but I enjoyed Nam Siheon and Koo Yeonjun a lot.

Ahn Hyoseop was definitely meant for this role. Episode 7 onwards he is amazing and steals the spotlight in my opinion.

Ahn Hyoseop truly shined in this remake for me acting wise, especially starting in episode 7 when we get the backstory of his character. He nailed it.
