i dropped it. i barely ever drop anything this far in, but wtf??? every time someone appears on screen i'm yelling "WHO ARE YOU?!?!?!" and i can't do it. every episode feels like i'm starting some new show and i'm trying to figure out who's who. mflow has officially been lost to me. at least with beyond the star there was a boyband being promoted.
what are they even trying to do here? show us what the industry is like? shove as many hot people on screen as humanly possible? ruin careers? it can't be making money, cause this must be a sink hole.
mizuki seems like the type to mention at the end that 'this was all a ploy for soga to get his shit together and fight for sakae so they can be happy together'.
either way, with the way both soga and mizuki are at this point in the series, sakae is better off alone.
i had so much fun with this show! the relationship is toxic as hell, the acting isn't great at times. the plot is a bit confusing, seeing as we start in book 3. but it's just a jolly good time. and i'm pretty impressed with the fighting scenes. exactly what i needed!

it's boring. it's confusing. and i'm wondering if anyone in this production has ever heard of doctor-patient boundaries and confidentiality. no one has chemistry, half the time i was even wondering who the couples were supposed to be. there were some cute and funny moments. i enjoyed milk's friends, but milk forgot about their existence too often for them to be around as much as i would like them to be.
if this had been 6-8 episodes, i think it would have done a lot better.
i would say, only give this one a try if you have the time and you enjoy "bad" series. or maybe even to put on in the background. don't worry about being confused ... you still would be even while paying attention.

as for with other shows, maybe try and check the comments/reviews? but then you would have to wait a couple of episodes to see if you want to try it. also, seeing other commenters around that you can tell have similar taste as you. so you can trust their judgement on whether to watch something or not.
i am pretty similar in the way that usually i have to finish a show once i start. but i've gotten to the point where i can give myself a 1 or 2 episode trial and put it aside if i don't like it. there are so many shows out there, it is a really good thing to learn and let stuff go that you don't enjoy. a lot of red flags are very obvious from the beginning.
