I'm really hoping it's not cancelled this week again because of the Olympics... I miss W.
On one hand, it's nice that W will go on for even longer, but on the other hand another week will be so hard. I normally prefer shorter dramas to longer ones but W needs more than 16 episodes.
I'll be the first to admit that a lot of romance in dramas isn't usually my thing but.... this series, it's just…
I don't mind the romance aspect here as much because it never overpowers the story so far. Even with it, the mystery and the suspense are still there. There is great humor, and because of the aspects of him being a fictional character she created, it is very interesting to see the blurred lines between fiction and reality and that dynamic. This is one of the most addicting dramas I’ve seen so far.

The entire aspect of him being a fictional character and her being from the real world, plus him essentially being her creation so she is technically in love with her idea, is what makes it more interesting than the typical rom com for me. Plus I really enjoy the story about the blurred lines between fiction and reality and the suspense. Even when the romance is there, it never takes over the story completely; the pacing and the mystery are still going strong and I'm just loving this.
An unpopular opinion, but Coffee Prince. And on the Japanese drama side, Proposal Daisakusen. I also never understood the hype about Love Shuffle and I usually enjoy Nojima Shinji.
I do tend to drop if I am not enjoying a series. Why waste time watching something mediocre when there are a lot of great dramas out there? Series I dropped include Secret Garden, Boys Over Flowers, Hana Yori Dango...
And a few I couldn't even make it through an episode, like Heirs.
I went into this without knowing what to expect but ended up enjoying it. I loved the interactions between Tada and Gyoten and enjoyed all of the people they met and interacted with throughout the series. Slice of life isn't usually my favorite genre, but this one had a lot of charm.
