In episode 11, they go away for a 2 day teambuilding holiday to a cabin retreat for stargazing. Does anyone know what the place is called or where it is? Thanks in advance!!
Do you mind to elaborate? I would really love to hear more about it. I'm especially curious since the film had…
Sorry for the late reply! I have been quite busy the last year. I hope you are doing well despite the COVID-pandemic.
I will elaborate: If we compare the novel with the movie, some details and elements/characters are changed. The original story is more clear and heavy. The movie is a kind of summery of the novel, where some parts were left out (e.g. the stories and connections between people). What makes this novel so beautiful are the little things, the small details... . For example, the female MC has a stutter, which makes her more vulnerable. She isn't confident in herself, contrary to the movie, where she sometimes has character. This changes the theme of the story of the novel entirely. I think this is also a very irritating part of the MC, but that shows why she became so dependent on the male MC in their novel. Because of her stutter, the interaction between MC's is different than in the movie. Furthermore, She is portrayed as a quiet person (with a 'down/negative' vibe) in the movie, but in the novel she's described as an innocent, youthful person, which also gives a different vibe to the beginning of the story. As the story continues in the novel, you can see the theme change into a more serious/dark vibe just like the movie (but I find the novel a bit darker which fits good in the story) and in the end, you can see the love between the MC's has reached a stage where it cannot be conveyed in words. Because they understand/love each other deeply, they don't need to say everything in words: "It was clear, from the deep entanglement and intertwining of the gazes of the two youths, that they shared a level of intimacy that exceeded, by far, the intimacy shared by those who held hands, hugged, and even kissed, one another." In the end both stories are unique and beautiful in their own way. That's why I recommended to also read the novel. I find the writer wrote the novel in an astonishing and beautiful way, where for me the emotions, the love is conveyed quite clearly. I hope this answer will satisfy you. I also hope this will make you enthusiastic to read the novel!
For anyone who has seen the movie, I really recommend the novel if you want to know more about the original story. It is a bit more intense, but you get also the details, which couldn't be put in the movie. I find both versions amazing and really beautiful, but emotionally heavy at the same time.
ya i hope it got sub for the others who want to watch it. btw any other drama to intro?? besides Princess agent…
I recommend these if you love historical drama:
Chinese: Legend of Lu Zhen, General and I, The Princess Wei Young, Scarlet Heart
Korean: Jewel in the palace/ Dae Jang Geum (really old one) , Iljimae, Dong Yi, Scarlet Heart Ryo (Is Korean version of Scarlet Heart), Hwarang. I heard Empress Ki is also a must watch, but I haven't started it yet.
I probably forgot a few, but these will do for now ahahah
