i thought I've reached the pinnacle of bad bl dramas with that's my candy & my dream but this one...this one takes gold in every category of the bad bl dramas Olympics. real torture.
just binge watched and this is genuinely such an enjoyable show. and yeah, it's kinda cringe and weird at times and the subtitles are literally my worst enemy but bank and earth's chemistry is so so good that I'm willing to overlook it. they were so embarrassing when they got together but like in a cute, honeymoon phase way, my face still hurts from smiling. it got better from around episode 6, the previous ones were a bit chaotic, but it's worth to push through if you're a fan of fluff. another plus from me is that there wasn't that much drama like gmm with their ep 11 break-ups and ai and songkhram were just disgustingly happy and in love until the very last second. and the ending...... don't even get me started, i love it and I'm so happy for them, it really is a "perfect ending" for me<3
I'm straight up speechless. this continuation should have NEVER happened cuz what the heck. i absolutely loved part1, it gave me everything all of us are dead didn't, i genuinely cared and rooted for every character and waited like crazy for the release of part 2 just to get it all ruined in the span of 4 episodes. I'm not even sad, I'm mad and disappointed. who decided on that ending????????? bombastic side eye to the screenwriter + the fact that ***** survived although all they did from the start was to make problems for others??? bruh...........not even jail but a whole a$$ alcatraz

I never said mu ren & li cheng's situation is any better, cuz it's not. li cheng's behaviour also wasn't right and he shouldn't have touched mu ren while he was under the influence of drugs. I'm not excusing him at all. however, in my opinion, it doesn't matter if Xing Si was more responsive and aware than him - he was still drunk and Yong Jie shouldn't have done anything to him while he was in that state. and once again, THEY'RE BROTHERS. even if not relatated by blood, they still lived as brothers for a big portion of their lives. most of the series, Xing Si also viewed Yong Jie solely as his brother, while Yong Jie was borderline obsessed with him. His behaviour afterwards also wasn't right, especially when he confronted their parents. I get that he wanted to help Xing Si with his coming out, but was showing their father that video really that necessary? I don't have anything towards morally wrong characters or situations, but the problem lies in whether the series acknowledges them as such or not. I feel like in History 4 it was all portrayed as even if it wasn't morally okay, it was still alright since everything happened "out of love".

tell me I'm not the only one disappointed in this season... i don't know what will have to happen in the finale for me to change my mind. there's so many plot holes and it seems like some scenes that could be important are literally missing and instead of enjoying the episode I'm like "huh?? wtf". also, some things just... don't make any sense? like the fact that the original buyeon wants naksu "out" of her body when it's not even her own body? cuz her body was mudeok and now it's gone and naksu is now in her own body. am i stupid??? or am i missing smth cuz?? and the deaths at the end of ep 9?? can't they show even just a glimpse of premise of what happened instead of making us guess or (maybe) leaving it for the last episode? imo it'd work better than throwing it in so abruptly, I literally thought i missed some scenes... I'm seriously not expecting a happy ending but if this drama also falls victim to the cursed endings of 2022 kdramas, I'll be pissed.
the only thing I can say about this movie is that it's pretty, but beside that... it's kind meh. the casting is really good and the acting also isn't bad, but it all falls flat because it's just not enough to help with the lack of anything interesting happening. the characters lack charisma and none of them leave any stronger impression and tbh some of them are just not needed at all for the story to go on. there's not really any character development and all what happens could be easily predicted, so ultimately there's nothing that could make the 2,5h be more worthy of watching or change my opinion in some greater way. there's nothing wrong with "slow" movies or taking time for the whole stroyline to set, but in this case, it doesn't add any depth or value to the story, it just makes it boring. I was expecting something more out of it, but the whole movie could be summed to pretty people in pretty scenery doing things, that's all.
