Review The Scandal
AI or not… so what’s your point? 😂 That you disagree with the review? Great. You’re allowed to. But “AI”…
“Last-word obsession” is a spectacularly convenient little escape hatch when you've run out of anything intelligent to say about the actual criticism. 😂

You’ve spent this entire exchange doing exactly what you’re accusing me of: replying again and again, dragging the conversation into my personality, my motives, my English standards, my supposed emotional investment, and now my alleged need for the last word, because at no point have you actually managed to defend the writing I criticised. And now that you've exhausted every possible distraction, you're reduced to recycling the same “you care so much” line like a chatbot trapped in a failed dialogue loop.

That's the funniest part of all of this. You keep trying to portray me as obsessed while repeatedly returning to the conversation to manufacture another smug little closing statement. You don't sound unbothered. You sound like someone who desperately needs the audience to believe they're unbothered.

And I genuinely don't need you to agree with me. I don't need to “win.” I don't need your permission to dislike your review. I certainly don't need to spend another ten replies convincing you that your writing is generic. I've already said what I thought of it, you've demonstrated exactly why I thought it, and this conversation has now produced more personality than the review ever did.

So yes, let's call this your victory. 🏆 You can have the imaginary trophy, the imaginary moral high ground, and, most importantly, the imaginary last word you've been performing for several replies now.

Enjoy it. I'm done feeding the algorithm. 😂

Review The Scandal
AI or not… so what’s your point? 😂 That you disagree with the review? Great. You’re allowed to. But “AI”…
The irony of writing an entire theatrical monologue about how much I supposedly want the last word, while making absolutely sure you get one more parting shot in yourself, is genuinely delicious. 😂 And honestly, what's even more fascinating is that your replies have the exact same problem as the review itself. The same manufactured wit, the same formulaic little gotchas, the same artificially polished condescension, the same desperate attempts to sound effortlessly cutting while saying absolutely nothing of substance. It's almost impressive how consistently the personality manages to disappear from every piece of writing involved here.

I commented on a review. You chose to turn it into a discussion about my personality, my supposed obsession with being right, my English standards and now my emotional investment. Anything, apparently, except the quality of the writing that started this exchange. At this point, I'm genuinely struggling to distinguish your replies from the review itself. It's like watching the same prompt generate increasingly elaborate variations of "I'm unbothered and you're obsessed." The irony of defending the authenticity of a review with replies that sound just as algorithmically assembled is almost too good.

You can call that a win if you need to. I'm not particularly interested in taking that away from you. If declaring victory is what it takes to finally stop discussing your review, by all means, enjoy your trophy. Just try to make the victory speech sound a little less AI-generated. 💀

Review The Scandal
AI or not… so what’s your point? 😂 That you disagree with the review? Great. You’re allowed to. But “AI”…
Oh, the sudden non-native English speaker defence. How convenient. Let me make this painfully simple since you've somehow managed to turn a criticism of your writing into a referendum on your English proficiency. I couldn't care less whether you're a native English speaker. I'm not grading your grammar, correcting your vocabulary or handing out language proficiency certificates. I'm criticising a review that reads like an assemblage of generic, artificially polished sentences masquerading as a personal opinion.

And as for addressing what your review actually says, you're welcome to point out where I've misunderstood its substance. But don't pretend you've been patiently waiting for literary criticism when you've spent this entire exchange dodging the original criticism and inventing increasingly elaborate ways to make yourself the victim of it.

You wanted to know whether I have an opinion about your review. I do. I think it's terribly written, painfully generic and devoid of the individual voice that makes a review worth reading in the first place. You don't need to be a native English speaker to have a personality on the page. And you certainly don't need to be a kisskh editor to recognise when a piece of writing has absolutely nothing of its own to say.

AI or not… so what’s your point? 😂 That you disagree with the review? Great. You’re allowed to. But “AI”…
The fact that you’ve managed to write multiple replies without once defending the actual quality of the review tells me everything I needed to know. You’re not arguing that it’s well-written; you’re arguing that I’m not allowed to call it AI slop. Those are two completely different things. So keep shadowboxing the word “AI” if it makes you feel better. Meanwhile, the review is still sitting there like a chatbot was fed three adjectives, a thesaurus, and absolutely no personality. 😂

Um no, it couldn't stay in global top 10 for long enough and couldn't get much views and watch hours and completion rate. Hence it is a flop and chances of getting renewed is rare

anyone who's read the webtoon, is there more to the trailer? shocking twists, more action, etc?
Didn't read the webtoon but the summary in Discussion above, and basically the teaser did not spoil any twist at all.

They only showed random snippets of present-day setting but there is so much more to that, then there is the school setting then even more in past....

LONG STORY SHORT
there are 3 timelines in this show and we only saw a handful of 1 timeline.

You keep acting as though "not guilty" means "it definitely didn't happen," and that's simply not what a not-guilty verdict means. It means the prosecution failed to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. Those are not the same thing.

You also dismissed my example as "one exception," but that's exactly the point: if even one proven miscarriage of justice exists, then your claim that a verdict is the final word on objective truth falls apart. Courts are legal institutions, not omniscient ones. They're made up of people, and people make mistakes, overlook evidence, misjudge witnesses, or operate within systems that are imperfect.

Reminding some of you bozos that Kim Soo-Hyun was found not-guilty :) Please be respectful.
"KSH was found not guilty." Yeah, by the same law system that fined the mother of a rape-victim (by 12 men, 7 of them are still in the entertainment business) for defamation after her whole family died because of them.

Oh yeah:::::

https://www.thestar.com.my/aseanplus/aseanplus-news/2026/01/07/petition-seeks-to-reopen-rape-death-case-of-former-south-korean-actress

The case refers to the tragic 2004 auxiliary/supporting actress gang rape incident in Seoul and the subsequent legal battle fought by the victim's mother, Jang Yeon-rok. Under South Korea's strict defamation laws, truth can still be legally classified as defamation if statements damage a person's social reputation, leaving victims and their families vulnerable to counter-suits.

A 34-year-old female graduate student working part-time as a bit-part actress/extra was gang-raped by 4 men and sexually harassed by 8 others (12 total individuals) associated with a broadcasting station casting company.

Due to intense psychological trauma, victim-blaming, and severe pressure during the police investigation, the victim dropped the criminal charges in July 2005, legally halting criminal prosecution.

Overwhelmed by depression and the fallout of the failed justice process, the victim died by suicide in 2009. Within a month, her younger sister who had been pushed into the industry and suffered secondary trauma also took her own life. Their father subsequently died from a brain hemorrhage brought on by the shock.

When the mother, Jang Yeon-rok, later campaigned publicly and named the individuals responsible, one of the suspects filed a defamation suit against her. While the court eventually ruled in favor of the mother and did not penalize her with a crippling fine in that specific instance, the presiding judge explicitly noted deep frustration at the "disastrous failure of the state system" that amplified the family's agony.

From what I've read, the webtoon portrays a female teacher as vile for teaching students about feminism and the…
this info is actually wrong 100%

In the teacher arc, the teacher get slapped not because she is a feminist but because she think only her opinion is absolute correct and others' opinions are wrong and any student who questions her beliefs, she made sure that student get isolated and bullied by other kids.

The other arc you are talking about is where the black boy first bully a Korean boy using so many racist words so the 2ML say the n-word to him to show him how it feels. It's just as same as other arc - eye for an eye - violence for violence, defamation for that girl who enjoys defaming ppl, mom forced to live as her son's harsh daily routine and meal prep that created for him etc
People went gaga that Daniel said N-word to that boy but never did anyone address how that boy was bullying the Korean student. Also, this was only 1 chapter and each arc consist of at least 10 chapters, so it's wrong to accuse writer as racist without even knowing how this arc even ends imho (and if we follow other arcs, it wouldn't have showed racism as right method10000000%)

Anyway, this is my opinion after reading these said chapters from webtoon and discussion in comments and unbiased forums, and you can disagree with it if you want as you have already made an opinion about the writer solely by reading other ppl's words...
