I haven't watched the finale. But this is easily one of the best dramas I've ever watched. You can feel the effort put by everyone involved in the show. The dialogues weren't expository and felt natural. And the direction was very good with lots of close-up shots which helped elevate certain scenes. Coming to the acting, it was top notch. Everyone including every single supporting actor were amazing. Now that I look back at all the 10 episodes, I feel like the support cast shines more than Sugisaki Hana herself. It's not that her acting is bad, I feel like she always plays roles that have this type of personality, which is pretty much Hana's personality itself. That's why I didn't see anything special with her acting. I hope she shows more versatility in the future. And I love the ending theme by Aimyon. It's fits the drama very well . It's a great tune.
Haruna's acting is boring as hell. Almost every drama I watched of her, it feels like I'm watching the same character. Her acting isn't bad. It's just too generic, her expression and everything.
No it isn't the lowest because clean with passion was the lowest rated tv drama of her.Others I agree with most…
Like the other person said, clean with passion aired on cable channel which relies on subscription compared to other dramas including my demon which all aired on free channels.
Well this drama was okay in the beginning. Then it went to shit after episode 8. Contrary to what everyone says, there's no chemistry between the leads. They get along well off-screen. Their on-screen chemistry is really awkward. It's solely because song kang's acting is awkward as hell. Because of that, the "funny" scenes falls flat and their interactions in general looks unnatural. Emotional scenes like him sacrificing in ep 15 fell flat cuz of his acting. Now if song kang wasn't good looking, we all know how much this drama would be hated.
Comparing kim yoo jung's dramas from 'love in the moonlight' to 'my demon', song kang is kim yoo jung's worst co-star acting-wise. Kim yoo jung also gave some of her weakest performances in some scenes with song kang because of his awkward acting. She's usually good. Rom-coms don't work if one of the leads is not a good actor. It's a shame because this is yoo jung's lowest rated (tv rating) drama yet.
First off, kim yoo jung keeps eating up song kang acting wise in every scene. Song kang acting is very bland and generic. It doesn't hit at all. About the drama itself, other than the demon concept the whole drama is full of cliches. Cliches aren't a bad thing when done right. But my demon fails to make it work. Everything felt like I've watched before. It gets old really fast. Also guwon sacrificing himself for dohee in ep 15 was the most cliche thing ever. That was supposed to be emotional but I was just staring at the screen feeling nothing. And song kang's acting being bland didn't help at all.
7.7 is too low for this drama. It should be atleast 8.5. It's peak rom-com. And not just that, the show has a lot of heart with a great cast. Some of the best chemistry you'd see between the leads. The last few episodes become heavy and has a tonal change which makes the show even better. The change in tone makes sense narratively and feels earned. The actors of both ML & FL brought their A game in those episodes which makes it even more memorable. I know most of the hate for this show was because the ML doesn't fit their standards looks wise. All I'll say is just watch it for yourself. You definitely won't regret it.
All I can say is, if you haven't watched this drama yet, just watch the japanese adaptation. It's much better in almost every way especially acting wise. The FL on that one is actually funny and messy without any over the top, cringe acting like the one in the korean one.
Also if you didn't like this drama, I suggest you to watch the japanese one. You might end up liking it.
I don't think there was a single "love tension" moment between Dal Mi and HJP in the entire show.Dal Mi always…
That's the problem with the writing. Most of the things related to the love triangle feel like it happens because the writer wants it to. It doesn't have to make narrative sense.
It was obvious that HJP didn't help Dal Mi only because of her grandma, part of him had feelings for her. He just didn't realize that. But the show kept dragging so that Do San and Dal Mi can get together.
It's not just about the "shippers", the weak writing was very obvious. After such a strong first episode, I don't think anybody wanted her to be with Do San. It also made Dal Mi uninteresting. Also the show doesn't do anything to convince the audience why Dal Mi has to end up with Do San. The show's like "she loves him because the writer said so". And Nam Do San being unlikable doesn't help at all.
Not to mention the chemistry between the ML and FL is non existent. And honestly I don't blame the actors at all. I mean what could they do if the plot was forced?
