His harshness toward Fugui stems from seeing himself in his son, his actions, his words, his very heart. Unless you've walked in his shoes, you cannot judge how he shows love. And he cannot possibly withhold love from the child he shares with Huaizhu; to do so would be to hate a part of her, and Hongye is simply not capable of that.

Everyone is mad and annoyed at Hongye, for his behaviour, for not showing love to his son and disappointing his wife but in the end, if you think about what’s he’s gone true, you would understand that he doesn’t want his son to go through what he’s been through. He believes with his whole heart 💔 that it’s his fault for letting his emotions control him which led to the death for his sister and friends. No one would want another person to go through this. And I’m glad that he remembered the promise he made to his wife and allowed Fugui to leave the Wangquan Manor

I agree with you on Su Muyu’s character coz I believe the actor portrayed him exactly how he is in the anime and the two prequels. I disagree with people saying saying he lacks charisma

I think you’re mistaken. The ML is a great actor. I think you’re finding problem with him cause of his character/personality. He’s an aloof and quite person and doesn’t like to talk much. If you watched any of the two prequels, you would see that in the way the actors portrayed Su Muyu

What future is she gonna have if she can’t get past her trauma? Sad to see she has such a family. I’m glad Qi Nan is by her side despite what they are going through

Am glad ZQM was able to reunite with his daughter, XZQ who was kidnapped by the organ traffickers but didn’t die as she developed a fever before the surgery could take place. But still, the kidnapper, XYZ kept her for future use for his actual daughter. I don’t feel bad for the bad guys that died. They deserve what they got. And am happy XYZ wasn’t able to save his daughter in the end
