Just finished watching it on Netflix and I can say that my patience improved after stopping myself from watching every new episode after episode 12 to avoid regretting it again. In the episode where both of Bai's remaining family died, I was sad of course because she has to suffer loss one after another but I could not help but laugh about it after as they were wiped out in a single episode. The whole story was good I really enjoyed it, the chemistry of the leads was chef's kiss and the support was good the only thing that I thought that was lacking was Wuyuan after the build-up that he was fooling everyone and using every opportunity to his advantage I thought that he was harder to defeat but I guess it was enough. This is one of the best historical type dramas I have watched I watched it for the leads but I liked everything despite my reasons.
I hate watching unfinished series because I get pissed off when I finish the last available episode so I avoid it as much as possible but I can’t stop myself anymore so I watched this and I regret it so much because this drama is so my style and it just caused me nothing but so much pain when I wait for the next episode
I just finished it. at first I hesitated to watch it because its 66 episodes but I watched it anyway because I needed my daily dose of Yang Mi's acting and it didnt disappoint me, their acting is just superb and lastly how can a drama be this long and maintain its quality?
