I ended up falling for this version. At first, it seemed so ridiculous, I couldn't even bear to watch it. As it went on, I started to enjoy it a lot more. Mischievous Kiss is my personal favorite version because borderline autistic Naoki steals my heart every single time. I wasn't anticipating liking this one at all since other versions irritated me to the point of no return. I think what really clenched this version for me was their "falling in love" scenes. They were beautifully done. I really wanted to root for them. I felt actual love and care for Yue Qin coming from Zhi Shu. There was something real there. The best part of the Itazura Na Kiss series is always after the wedding. I would love to see how these two function as a couple. Hopefully Netflix views will give it the boost they need to continue the series. I do wish someone would go a little further and actually show them up to the baby being born, but I understand not continuing out of respect for the author.
