It was a good start to the series, I did not mind the SFX but I do agree that it might be excessive. I'm quite wondering on how this aired in CH3. The WeTV version states that it is an uncut version, so I'm curious on what scenes were cut from the TV version.
Anyway, I'm excited for this series. I have high hopes for this one especially coming from a major channel in Thailand. The characters seem to shade a lot of the dark side of the BL industry and I'm here for it. I'm interested if there is an actual author that was so choosy when it comes to casting, like what was mentioned by the director and Hin before the casting scenes.
I think this one has way better reasons to get renew since it was trending #8 in the USA and many asian countries…
SH has more or less 3x the streams of AiB, but I guess this will take a lot of time to announce as they have to coordinate with several VFX teams if they still want to commit to the project.
I was watching this alongside with Alice in Borderland. AiB has confirmed that a second season is happening, but it'll probably won't come until next December, as principal photography is limited due to the pandemic. I hope Sweet Home gets renewed for a second season and it will be a Merry Christmas ❤️
You must be delusional... A 9/10? For this poor adaptation?
I'm talking about how you are spoiling their fun by saying to OP that he is delusional for thinking that the series is 9/10. I'm not talking about spoiling content of the series. He probably already knew the content of the show as he already watched it and rated it. And yes, you do have a right to say on their opinions, but attacking the person making the comment, saying that they are delusional is not okay.
IMO this is so good. It is indeed different from the webtoon but in a good way! It's like one whole webtoon is…
It's actually good if you do not compare it much with the webtoon. Even the original authors wanted the series' director to not fully go with 100% of the webtoon's storyline. I liked this one despite some changes that happened in the series. The content of the drama series is more suitable for watching, and the webtoon's content is suitable for reading. Each has its own perks.
How did the leader know that there is a monster by the electric breaker? The spider monster. I don't understand…
It's probably due to the CCTV footages, or there are some noise that was detected by their phones. And there is no reference for this scene in the webtoon, since the firefighter girl was an original character for the series.

Please don't undermine anyone's preference. The series might look cool to others, but others might don't like it. If OP's point of view of the series is great, let them be. Don't spoil the fun that they have.
I only reached episode 6 but this seems to fall short in comparison to the webcomic. There was more tension, more…
I think you should try to treat the series and the webtoon different from each other. The original authors did not want the drama series to follow the webtoon, hence the changes (which are probably approved by the original authors).
How exactly does the drama deviate from the webtoon? Give me spoilers. I don't care lol. I've also read on here…
It's the series, not the webtoon, that they want to go in a different direction as the author didn't want follow the source material 100% for the series.
"The authors requested that Eung-bok didn't "follow 100% of [the] Webtoon story" because they wanted "to see different perspectives," according to the aforementioned Reddit thread. Therefore, it's possible that if there is a Season 2, it's all original content."
Spoilers ahead if you're still in the middle of watching the series and if you haven't read the webtoon. This topic…
That one was unexplained. It's just probably the strong feeling of desire. The causes of monsterficiation aren't disclosed either, the explanation that the webtoon gave was "human desires".
Well.... All the characters that I liked are dead, not really hyped for a 2nd season. And Hyun Soo has literally…
His character was really bland in the series, but he gets a lot of development in the webtoon. Read the webtoon, if you have time. Just a reminder that the series deviates from the webtoon in the latter half.
Does anyone know what causes the people to transform into monsters? My family is watching this but I'm too scared…

This topic has been well talked about in the webtoon, but with subtle hints on the webtoon (you'll be able to catch it if you were listening to some monologues and diaries that were shown). It's the manifestation of their desires that's making them monsters. Example is the male lead's neighbor, the girl with the cat, her dialogue goes along with her going on a diet. She's starving herself, so that's why her manifestation is wanting to eat.

They maintained some scenes from the webtoon, but they changed the fate of several characters. For example, Park Yuri (the caregiver) lived, while in the series, she died. The spider monster appeared early in the webtoon, but in the series, it appeared later and skipped its development. Gil Seop, the one being taken care of by Yuri, dies by being smashed by Protein Man in the webtoon, but in the series, he dies of natural death. Pyeon Sang Wook's character was drastically changed. Jo Ihyun of the webtoon (the character that can also control his monsters) was replaced by Jeong Eui Myeong, which is far different from the character in the webtoon. Some storyline changes is when they're trying to escape the apartments, in the webtoon, they were going for the rooftop and zipline towards the other side, but in the series, they went underground.
And yeah, the ending is different. There were some concepts such as the cocoon were not shown in the series. The involvement of the military is new to the series. If they do announce a sequel, its going to be completely original content. It's actually completely fine, as the webtoon authors wanted the series to go into a different direction from the webtoon.
What parts about the apartment are you confused about?
There's only select floors that have monsters in it, and the monsters roam around and sometimes change floors. The neighbors were all random much like what was explained in the webtoon, they just knew each other.
This is my recommendation to those who are curious if they should read the webtoon. If you want action-packed,…
Anyway, congrats to Sweet Home. It's now trending in Top 10 in Netflix for some countries. In my place, it's just places below Alice in Borderland at #4.
sorry, but can someone please clarify the ending. Thanks
I think all things will be explained if a sequel comes. Right now, I'm speculating that the guy who has possessed Sang Wook's body helped Hyun Soo escaped by pretending to be a military official. They have escaped and the search continues to find other special infectees.
