From Queen of Tears to Viewer's Tears
April 28, 2024Queen of Tears is that Kdrama that I have been waiting for ever since it was announced. For me, I definitely had great expectations with this series and I think it did deliver that.
I do believe that the casts carried the majority of the little plot holes that kind of existed. Nevertheless, it was a great ride of show in terms of really feeling rom-com, angsty, dramatic, and mysterious vibes of it.
The chemistry is oozing, that was something that we all cheered and devoured. Like when are we going to find our own Hyun-woo? Our main leads put their best acting and solidified their A list Kdrama actors' status for sure. Before watching the finale, I have been seeing the reviews or the criticism of other viewers. And I must say, there is a point of overly hatred towards this drama. I definitely agree that certain plot tropes and progression could have been better in a sense. Like there are couple characters that were introduced but never really was served a sense of purpose in a way. But I do think that it is more on the minimal side, and it will only really really bother you if you pay attention like a detective.
For the first quarter of 2024 kdramas, I can definitely say that Queen of Tears deserve its popularity and support from both local and international audiences.
That 2 hour finale was amazing and I think that it something I would love to rewatch again as my comfort show.

Suspenseful
Oct. 2, 2021Squid Game is one of those dramas where humans are in such a desperate state that they have lost their ability to have human compassion. To be honest, I really love the first half of the series. I am assuming that there must be a plan for a second season as the ending implied it unless they really wanna fk us up and give that ending with no sequel.
For the characters of the Squid Game, I think that the writers really gave us a huge variety of personalities and perspectives through each ones. Though, there are some characters that I absolutely despised and thank god they are gone. But I fking hate those VIPs. I need them dead, I don't think I will be able to rest and I will not continue to shut up unless those mfs get their deserved karma for using people for their fking entertainment.
With all these, I did feel a bit underwhelmed with the latter half of season 1. I feel like the writing has become sloppy and that it kinda fell into the constant repetition that made it a bit harder to finish the series. I did skip multiple scenes in the latter half as it seems uninteresting and unnecessary. I did cry for all the characters that I loved since they all really just died. Like damn, that hurt like a bitch tbh. I wished they kept my girl like come on. But oh well, it is what it is.

SWEET, SHORT, CONCISE, BUT FULFILLING
Mar. 10, 2022OMFG, Sematic Error adaptation is just chef's kiss. As someone who has read the manhwa of it, I try not to compare them together as obviously this is an adaptation and that there are some differences. But I just wanna throw it out here that for those who wanna see more details and understand each lead, PLEASE READ THE MANHWA. It's really good.
Is there even more to say? The leads are lovely, I want them so much. Can I please have both of them 🙈
But as with most Korean BLs, this is for someone who wants a concise and easy to follow the plot. If you are looking for yk the typical full-length kdramas, this is ain’t it for you! But please really do consider reading the manhwas as well. They are both awesomeee!!!

S-TIER DRAMA TO WRAP UP THIS YEAR
Dec. 14, 2021Oh my gawd, this drama is the perfect cherry on top to end this goddamn year. Every single episode was packed and full of interesting stories that is clearly laid out. Definitely, the superior drama for the latter half of 2021. Park Hyungsik and Han Hyo Joo really snapped with their comeback. I couldn’t care less for what others might say but let me tell you I love this drama. From all the overhyped drama released this year, Happiness deserves better ratings and popularity.
The off the chart chemistry of Yi Hun and Sae Bom. OH MY GAWDDDDDDDD. I lowkey wished they gave us an episode just full of cliché of them being romantic cause I will literally live for that. Anyhow, the plot is perfect, the music is perfect, the cast is magnificent. One of the few dramas this year where I don't have any complaint at all. I really just wish for a special episode like is that too much to ask for? I really love our trio, Yi Hun and Sae Bom and their 'child' ahahaha. For all the other characters like the ones in the apartment can die like literally. They are down horrendous and the worst people I have ever seen. I really wish they got death instead of jail. I really don't believe that jail is the necessary punishment for them. I never felt this type of anger, I feel like Penthouse was the last drama I really felt this way.
Anyway, make sure to watch happiness, it will give you a rollercoaster of a ride. Also, prepare some tissues cause you will fking need it ðŸ˜

Decent but rough, pretty much a trashy romance type of show yk
Aug 4, 2021Hmmm I don’t even know what words to say for this series. Like its decent not bad but not good either. Both leads are either too dumb or too pushy and very desperate? Honestly some parts are so frustrating but I wasn’t bored either. Like I laughed on parts and skipped episodes…. So even I am confused 🤔 like I don’t even know what to say or if I recommend this for other people… but yeaa 💀
I’ll prolly categorize this as those trashy romance cliché drama if you know what I mean …
