It is illogical to superimpose personal considerations (I don't like ≠ Average, bad. I like it ≠ Good ) before a good objective writing: female lead has solid points in relation to dimensions and development as a character.
If she doesn't appeal you, it's a matter of your subjectivity (considering that you only saw three episodes). So don't act like her characterization revolves around what you think (she doesn't have to get your attention for her to be interesting because there are parameters, regardless of you). But not all of us have critical thinking or don't want to have one.
It's ironic that freedom of speech is appreciated and defended but freedom of thought is rarely contemplated to the point that there are people who don't even analyze and order their ideas before expressing themselves and end up maintaining a narrow minded and loaded in fallacies that will be defended with "I'm entitled to have an opinion" even if it has no coherence. Lol.
