A lot of people don’t like this version because the characters are deeper and they don’t spend time on unnecessary fluff that does nothing to move the story forward.
Not only was the acting way better, but I actually believed and was convinced by the characters. Granted, could the sensual scenes be better? Absolutely. But everything else was pretty damn good.
Kai in his story, truly convinced me of everything happening to him, but in the Thai version, his acting was so terrible, especially when he was crying. I didn’t feel for him as much because it didn’t feel like he was truly his character.
Bro literally, he needs more serious roles and work because this relationship with Dunk (and his terrible acting) is not showing enough of his talents .
I feel like MDL is a gathering of most of the series haters in general, 70% are haters and the rest are neutral.
