Good reason for that. The second season takes place in a world where the first season is a tv show. So the second season follows the "real" Cho Seok.

Agreed. There are many manga that get movies that would do much better as a series.

Agreed. The Taiwanese drama did this manga much better justice than this did.

It's okay. They condensed 17 volumes into 10 half-hour episodes. Many of the major conflicts and plot points seemed to happen one after the other with no real build up or cool down after the fact. Some were combined as well. Especially in the second half. This series felt more like a recap than an actual show if you have read the manga. Honestly, it's disappointing because I'd expect a J-drama to be more faithful to a Japanese manga. The Taiwanese version is a lot more faithful to the manga even with its changes (like they are college students instead of highschool). It's 13 1 hour episodes. Watch that instead. I give this a 5/10.

I actually liked the SML (Kaga) alot in this one. I'm glad he gave up so she wouldn't dump the male lead (Koshiro) who was a great character as well. I felt it was kind of cruel of her to dump him because she was aware of Kaga's feelings even though it didn't seem like she had feelings for him.

The show is the prequel to the movie. Seems like they have been doing setup shows for movies lately.

Well, it's a 10 volume manga, so that's not surprising.
