you can still criticize or give your opinion on a show while watching it. there’s nothing wrong with that and it doesn’t say anything about your enjoyment. and anyway, it’s always better to give your full opinion after having watched everything. if people are allowed to say positive things about a story, why can’t people say negative things about a story?

It didn’t seem that way to me. He was reluctant to show her his leg and only showed it to her because she was being pushy. And then afterwards he had to comfort HER because she was crying over HIS amputated leg. Shouldn’t that be in reverse?

But on the other hand they don’t really involve her in the meetings and she even proposed doing a task herself, but he just brushed her off by saying she didn’t know how to use the software and btw she DID ask what papers she should read, but the ml wasn’t even helpful by saying she should just read anything that interests her. She IS throwing temper tantrums and makes some situations about herself (especially the crying on his leg scene) but I would also be annoyed if I got a new pc for my own desk and then the one in charge says “nevermind kim sejin can use it” when he told her she would receive her pc soon for her own use.

No handsome male character can be nice to a woman without pursuing her nowadays. I honestly don’t think he’s going to become a romantic love interest for youjin or get in between the mcs. He wasn’t even in the trailer. The biggest obstacles are the mcs themselves. The maths professor is probably going to become a mentor she looks up to and guide or help her because she still hasn’t learned to use her skills in the robotics lab. But I could be wrong. I mean, even if you’re good at maths mechanical engineering is still different ig.

This is a different screenwriter than his other works

The whole drama does focus a lot on work related stuff which I personally found a little boring sometimes. I don't think it was unnecessary though. The romance is the main plot, but I wouldn't say they get lots of screen time together at the beginning. You'll have to endure the work related stuff to eventually get to the payoff (it's worth it in my opinion even if I'm at episode 12). Besides that the sister also has her own story which takes up quite a lot of screen time. At first I wasn't really fond of her and her story but it got interesting in the last few episodes! You can skip those scenes if you want because it's an entirely different story in itself

I know she has never left her home in her entire life, and for that reason never experienced fighting real enemies, but it's getting a bit old seeing how the both of them repeatedly tell her it's too dangerous.

While I really love Bai Yu Tang and Zhan Zhao being worried for Huo Ling Long going into dangerous missions, can't they just put their complete trust in her for once? We know she's capable of protecting herself. She herself knows she is capable of protecting herself. And they know she has been trained in the martial arts. It really frustrates me that they don't really treat her as an equal sometimes. I love her character and Zhang Ruo Nan btw!

A poor transfer student, a rich popular student. If it were between a woman and a man, it would've been a romance. "They soon develop a dangerous relationship between friendship and obsession." Doesn't that tell you enough? Friends aren't normally obsessed with each other, are they? Not to mention the source material is a gl which means Korea is doing the same thing like they did with Jeongnyeon; turning their romantic relationship into a platonic relationship!

I'm afraid both the fl and ml do some conflicting things throughout the drama. The fl kinda cheated on her bf by not communicating to him that she likes another man. And even if she wasn't happy with her bf anyway, it's still partly considered cheating. I'm currently at episode 8 and yes, it's bothering me, but I'm too invested to stop watching. Also, their actions aren't presented as a good thing. I think the reason people like this drama is because it's simply about normal people falling in love and that's what makes it realistic.

Everyone is being so critical of this drama, so now I'm scared it's gonna be a letdown (I'm about 20 minutes into the first episode)

I thought they weren't going to announce her actress until the movie comes out. I think she's gonna appear in the last few minutes of the movie (the king's selection)
