- From my understanding, MDL has a more international and younger fanbase who are generally lenient with the rating. Even my rating at 7.0 is me being lenient too.
- Douban rated this at 6.7, where there are more critical Chinese audiences. One of the Reddit user says Douban is akin to the Asian parent that is never satisfied with their own child.

Oh, I like the way you put it - the symbolism of their journey. Perceptive! It’s great to get a story where the screenwriter puts proper thoughts for each character and their arc.

I’m also surprised by some of the couples’ development, but after thinking about it, the pairing makes sense - like YYxLTG on being RY’s disciple, having similar background and wanting the same goals, YSSxCY on playboy vs innocent and criminal vs princess. Wonder how these will play out!

I am thinking there might be a mix of true and false speculations in these videos to keep us guessing. So we can always hope 🤞🏼

YY persuaded LTG to have marriage alliance with her. LTG is regent with Noble Chu’s child.
Saw clips of NYZ and LTG battling during LTG’s wedding. Am deducing that the chat between YY and LTG happened after based on the set and that the latter is still in wedding robe.

They managed to save Wu emperor but the latter refused to clear the names of those Heaven Path’s brothers who died in the war and even blamed NYZ for saving him late. QZ felt despair and thus threatened the emperor at the cliff. This is because Chai Ming who died protecting the emperor in ep 1 was QZ’s brother.

The others tried to persuade him not to kill the emperor. YSS fought with him and they both were on the verge of hanging at the cliff after the battle. While they managed to save the emperor, QZ voluntarily chose to die at the cliff.

Translation, not following exactly from video clip
- QZ died from personal enmity (with someone - never say) at cliff
- Beipan attacked. Wu emperor led team to defend the borders
- SL died from arrows (he used himself as target)
- YL accepted decree to send message back to capital but unfortunately passed by NYZ without meeting. Died from exhaustion at capital.

Hahaha ~~ her explaination was funny though. Her logic and how it snowballed to the point where FN recognised that she is just running away.

Also, if it wasn't 6 years, we won't be able to see LYY. So I shall suspend my disbelief and enjoy. ^^

He agreed to the blind date after he thought that LYY was FN and her friend's son. Cause the friend introduced LYY as his son before LR confirmed with LYY's mum's identity. It wasn't until FN accidentally blurted out that LR is the dad that he realised.

FN always has this philosophy that she wants a kid, but not a husband. So for a short while, LR probably believed that FN "tried" with other guys.

Then after that, I believed LR used the tactic of wanting the rights to his son as an excuse to get FN to stay and get back together with her.

LYY is definitely the star of this segment. <3

Though I personally find LR's and FN's reunion 6 years after to be very entertaining - I enjoyed the new dynamics in their rls. Both have matured and changed in some ways, yet, they have not changed in many ways either.

FN's logic on how she couldn't tell LR about their son was quite relatable. The viewers wasn't shown much of LR's inner thoughts / explanation on his actions for now, so I do hope the show would reveal it as flashback in future episodes.

Of course, that's presumably they don't drag it further than this - the next episodes can't come faster!

On the contrary, I think it will have a HE. I have been mapping back the trailers and MVs to the latest episodes thus far, think most of the sadder scenes are already shown and resolved.

The ones we are holding out for are
1) Divorce scene
2) Fire scene
3) Coffin scene
4) XJ holding FR stilled body (and XP stab FR)

That's why I also wanted to know if FR and XJ managed to change their fate through those dreams they have. The missing dream sequences make it harder to follow, but I think they have managed to avert the worst case scenarios so far. So it should be a HE! Fingers crossed :)

It better be tooooo, for both LOY fans and new TWOF fans of the duo. Hahaa

The cliff scene may possibly an adapted scene from Yunxi's original novel. There was a chapter where Long Feiye saved Han Yunxi from falling a cliff too! The context would definitely be different, but I shall assume the scriptwriter took idea from there.
