I'm really waiting for this drama. I only saw a few episodes of anime but I really liked Tang San and when I saw Xiao Zhan as Tang San I succumbed to the WOW effect. Tang San has a pleasant warmth and great strength, wonderful youthfulness and maturity of a previous life. Xiao Zhan fits this role perfectly.
I don't know Wu Xuaonyi, but when I saw her on the set she captivated me with her grace. Her movements have a wonderful lightness of the dancer and her face is cheerful and sweet - just like Xiao Wu.
They both really match my character imagery. They are both very radiant. Xiao Zhan is an actor of positive energy, so I expect that while watching "Douluo Dalu" I will smile often :)
I hope to see this drama in the winter. When the sky is gray and sad trees without leaves fill the panorama. The colorful world of "Douluo Dalu will brighten my days: D

In May they got a license. At this point, they are preparing for the broadcast. Already last year, during the drama recording, they planned to premiere in August and everything indicates that this will be the case. The official date should appear in July or in the first half of August.

I watched Noble Aspirations because of Li Yifang. Drama was okay, she had better and worse elements, but I liked the hero and saw her about 3 times. If someone else played Zhang Xiaofan, maybe I would like drama less.
I watched Jade Dynasty for Xiao Zhan and had a great time. Of course, the movie has pros and cons, but Zhang Xiaofan was really cute and funny.
Personally, I recommend film and drama. Both productions have a slightly different atmosphere and charm, but they were lucky to actors playing Zhang Xiaofan - both are really convincing, it's hard not to like them :)

XZ is a rather unusual case for a Chinese show business. His career did not develop typically because for many he was "too old" to invest in it. That's why I think loyalty to those who gave him a chance is more important to him than money.
