K-Drama Dubbing industry was interesting but not the romance
The dubbing industry and traditional music parts are what got me hooked. I didn't know this was such a big industry and that there are people who are actually fans of the voice actors. Episode 27’s traditional music gala was my favorite scene.
The ML and FL were great before dating but became a total cringefest once they got together. Their romance was 90% cooking/eating with little character development, so I skipped most of their scenes. The ML was written as someone who was perfect at basically everything, and while usually don’t mind this trope, but here it was just too much. Also, he's supposed to be a cardiac surgeon yet his medical career felt more like a side quest while his cooking skills got much more attention. Then the FL was a post-grad student but often acted like she was still in high school even after graduating. The way she was styled did not help either.
But I love the Perfect Voice Studio gang! Their friendship and group dynamic were easily one of the best parts of the drama. My favorites were Doudou and Feng Yasong, Mo Bai and Mu, and Wang Ke and Feishao.
