agreed. they’ve cut out a lot. and with this only being 8eps there is no way they will do thier relationship…
Ngl I think the series is going to focus on the 1st season storyline and it will end on their reunion after the timeskip like in the 1st season. I love the 2nd season and I think it is really good and has the perfect ending but I always thought the 1st season of the manhwa has a stronger storyline and theme. I wish there's a 2nd season adaptation too but idk if people would think it would lose some charm since most of it was set in the city instead of the rural farm.
It's a story about two people from different worlds slowly falling in love with each other. What other substance…
There are people like this who want things to be hand fed to them complaining about the lack of substance while being oblivious on how the story is dropping subtle hints on the character depth and setting up storylines that the series has been building up. The only worry I have is how they will wrap it up in 8 episodes
Finished the 1st episode and it's already good. I say this because the drama has already has stuck to the basis…
Hello fellow Chikage/Pooh fan. One of the reasons I'm excited for this series is because it's multiple episodes and every character will get their moment to shine and Chikage is my fave in the manga.
there is only 1 gay character and thats a chef. And manga is bot BL, it is also not a gay themed series, it just…
Singto's character is gay and someone else is Bisexual. It is the bodyguard. The doujinshi sequel made by the manga-ka has Ono and Chikage ending up together still with Ono's messiness. I'm hoping they'd fix that here.
It’s actually the intention of the series creator, Juan Miguel Severo, to make this as “typical” as possible.…
Tbh I don't find this generic at all. Maybe because I'm Filipino so I can spot a lot of depth in the story. Let's be real, I love BL but some of them can be cringey with their fanservice and somewhat forced. This feels more natural and relatable.
Without even watching it completely, you're judging it and then talk about freedom to criticise...hahah
Where your eyes Linger is BL but I'm not sure about Elite and Love Victor since BL are mostly from Asia and those western shows definitely have higher production budgets than other Asian BL. That said you lost some weight in your criticism by saying they ran out of ideas by jumping on the same bandwagon. If you said it about other shows with the same format I'd probably agree with you. But you can't accuse a show who started it first for jumping on the same bandwagon lol. And I'm not sure if you know but we have the longest and pretty strict lockdown here in the Philippines than other countries. Especially at the time they filmed Gameboys. The actors had to film these on their own home and rooms and do their own light settings and camera angles as directed by the director. They were also filming in our capital which is the epicenter of the covid19 pandemic in our country. So of course they can't go out that much. Nowadays it's not that strict but we're still technically under community quarantine so there will still be difficulties in filming.
I know right. It's different. I have to say thou, that the "brothers" aren't actually biologically brothers, so…
I have no problems with your opinions about teacherxstudent relationships but I actually do like that they waited until the younger guy turned 20 before they do anything and I imagine by then he wasn't his professor anymore and already went through some experiences in their relationship. The way they presented it was not cringy for me at all.
Also I'm not sure if you are aware but heterosexual couples with kids also have sex, so Idk what your problem is? It's not like their going to do an exhibition in front of a kid? Like there are way too many funny stories about kids finding out that their parents have sex traumatize them but it's not like the kind that would make them go dark and twisted all of a sudden? Or are you worried just because they are a gay couple? There isn't even any drugs on the show as far as I know and I've seen my parents drink alcohol when I was younger and it did not actually influence me or anything. Oh wait my father tried to let me taste beer when I was young to tease me and I hated the taste of it so I grew up as an adult who doesn't like to drink.
For someone who was disappointed that the second couple in the series was not blood related brothers you sure are way too righteous about your opinions lol.

The student was 19 yrs old, not a minor and while the teacher/student aspect can be iffy they handled it well and didn't make it look predatory just to appeal to some people who like it. It's still a lot better than wishing the step brothers were actual brothers and this is coming from someone who actually has no qualms some fujoshis who likes BL because they think it's "taboo" and thus exciting. I actually like it more that their producing more normalized BL live actions like this. BL's popularity should be used to normalize gay relationships to help lgbt and stop producing cringy stuff just to excite fangirls. I actually do enjoy story with unusual plots and questionable morality and I don't think BL will ever get rid of them but I'd prefer to produced stories like this to outnumber the questionable ones and that something I would not be embarrassed to rec to other people.
