I LOVE Yamazaki Kento!! His role as L in Death Note is actually what made me so hooked onto him and led me to stalk his other dramas (lol), but that's probably because I'm also a huge Death Note/L fan :)
My favorites are: 1) love o2o2) eternal love3)the eternal love4) palace: the lock heart Jade5) a love so beautiful6)…
I can tell you love happy endings! No spoilers, but sparrow and CP3 definitely have UNIQUE endings that fit each story :) still good enough for me to put them on my top 5, so there you go!
The Princess Wei Young sounds really good to me and also has a great rating here on MDL. But I've never watched…
Hey! Yes, I would recommend the princess wei young to anyone, even those just starting out with C-dramas. It's a bit hard to answer your question without spoilers about the end, but I would say the romance itself definitely gets a happily-ever-after!
I love your list! I'm a huge fan of chinese historical dramas. Loved the romance in cruel romance and the princess…
Glad you liked it!! I agree 100% - the romance in those two dramas is unbelievably perfect in every way! Sparrow and the journey of flower are both a bit more intense (i.e more heartbreak and angst) so if you just watch them without comparing them to cruel romance/princess wei young you'll be able to enjoy them more!
P.s Sparrow's first 5 episodes are a bit tedious, but if you can get through them, you will not regret it! I have a full review without spoilers on my profile too :)
Try the 2006 version! It's the best version in my opinion, and you'll see that the story is a lot better when portrayed with a better cast, better acting, action scenes, etc. The 2006 (Return of the Condor Heroes) is the most favoured one in our generation for good reason - it's pretty much a classic - and Xiao Long Nu is, although still fairly emotionless, a much more likeable character with amazing chemistry with Yang Guo, and she's more on the cold and aloof side rather than simply bland :) plus in real life she's a dancer so the Wuxia is really top-notch and worth watching!
An incredible experience watching this drama, would highly recommend for people to check out! And even though it was released way back in 2009, the quality of effects and such is of a high standard, very comparable to today's 2015 fantasy wuxia dramas like Journey of a Flower, which i also love. :)

You should totally watch Sparrow if you loved The Disguiser - they are really similar!
