Ehhh...

I'm gonna be honest it took me a while to finish this series because I was really busy, but as I continued watching it during my free time, I kinda started losing interest because I was getting bored of watching it 🥲 Don't get me wrong I LOVE TutorYim but I think this is one of the most awful series they've done. I lowkey just forced myself to finish this ...

If you are into comedy and is fine with cringe stuff + less interesting plot then I guess this series is for you. If not, you should maybe skip this and find a new one. Let's get to itttt 🫶

Let's start of with our main couple:
Jade (Yim) is so oblivious. It was SOOO obvious that Mai (Tutor) liked him and I don't know how he didn't notice it sooner... It also got to the point where I was getting frustrated watching him 😭. I also didn't like how half of the time Jade was screaming like crazy and DON'T GET ME STARTED WITH THE OVERREACTING SCENES. I get it that Jade is a very awkward person but the over exaggerated facial expressions with the random sound effects and all is ... something. It was kinda too much. For Mai, his character is amazing ! he is such a greenflag 🥹 and his emotional intelligence is so good too. He never really pressured Jade and was willing to give him the time, love and care he needed. Overall they're both okay, but I feel like Jade had so much potential if they showed more of his serious and emotional side rather than only depending on his overreacting moments.

As for the side couples
Gus and Tong are cute ! I like their relationship. I was actually shocked that they have their own NC scene cuz I really did not expect that. Though I wish they had more scenes together so that we could see more of their relationship and get to know their characters better. They also had a lot of potential as a side couple and I would've loved to see more of their dynamic + a separate series only for them aswell !!!

For King and Uea, I haven't watched bed friend yet but for me they're okayish in a way... I'm not really a fan of how most of their scenes are them being mad at each other but at the same time I kinda understand it because that's also how some real couples are. Though I just wish we got to see more of their sweet and normal moments too even just a little bit considering how they already have their own series together.

This series might be enjoyable for other people but personally I don't think it's something I'd rewatch. It's still okay though :)
