I don’t disagree with you, but the comment in the trailer about topping was pushed back on by New’s character. I am not concerned that Jojo is going to make him a sad and pitiful character.

Yes, he has a team of writers and other directors. He doesn’t work for GMMTV directly, he has his own production team, but he does most of his shows with them. And he writes for a lot of the shows he directs, but not all of them.

Yes, i think it will be end of 2025. But that is a guess because of other projects that Tay and New and Jojo all have.

And yes, Jojo said on X today that the show has been waiting 2 years for the right cast until he was able to get TayNew. I think the script was written by his team, not him.

He implied on X That Summer will start filming in the beginning of the year. So that one looks to be up first.

They can recruit other directors, but Jojo’s shows are his. Recruiting others would mean not making his shows.

Also there are other directors with multiple projects. New and Waa each have 3 in 2025.

People like Aof And X are only doing 1 show each, but they are the creative directors for all of GMMTV, so it’s probably hard for them to make multiple series in a year.

I understand and do agree about Only Friends. But I think his strongest series have been in years where he had multiple projects, like 2022 with Warp effect, Mama Gogo, and NLMG. Jojo works with a huge team. Tay and New also have multiple projects coming up. I think this is probably mostly written since Jojo said about trying to do this for 2 years. I guess it will be filmed end of the year. I just don’t think there is reason to worry yet.

Jojo’s series always end up having a lot of emotional depth, even if they appear overly stylistic on the surface. I wouldn’t worry.

It is probably more fair to say almost all of the 2025 shows will probably start production in 2025. GMM always has shows that spill over into the next year. Next year will probably be worse because there are still several 2024 shows that have not even started filming.

Just my opinion. The first 3 are the weakest episodes. I think the series really started to pick up around episode 4, and by episode 7 became one of my favorite Thai shows of all time. I am a fan of all the actors so I was only watching for them in the beginning. There is humor throughout the series but it changes as New’s character changes and as the group grows closer. There is still going to be the silly humor around the stuff Jan’s character does, but it works. I think the show is excellent. I’d give it a try if you can because I think it’s worth it.

New often does things with other channels and agencies. I believe he has a contract that allows him to.

I am a Tay, New, and Jan fan and always knew they could bring it. So I have been most impressed with Mook. I like her but never liked her acting. I am so happy for her that she was given this part to show what she can do. They better cast her in better stuff now on.

I think the 9 bls and 2 gls was a mistranslation about 2024 shows. I bet they have more for 2025.

I really hope for TayNew series but they just had 2 shows back to back and they are both busy with other series until probably half through the next year. I am not getting my hopes up. If they split up 2025 into 2 parts then I might feel more hope.

No. This not a romance show.

There is no romance at all. At least not yet. And even if there is it’s not the focus of the show at all. It’s not a straight or heterosexual drama. You said yourself you haven’t watched the series, so I am explaining it so there is no misunderstanding for other readers.
