i don't think it did, though i haven't read the books yet, but the movie is just too short for a book. so maybe the plan was to have a part 2 or another series. but we can just speculate and wait as there's no news about it yet :)

it's already the whole movie. i think the to be continued part is because there are 5 books and this one is just the first book (i think)
