i think it was scarier in the preview/trailer though, i like how it was somehow tamed in the final release, though of course it's still scary/creepy to watch

it was. it shows the harsh reality why many victims don't come out and sue their rapists, and what the effects not just for the person but for their friends and families as well

i don't think it did, though i haven't read the books yet, but the movie is just too short for a book. so maybe the plan was to have a part 2 or another series. but we can just speculate and wait as there's no news about it yet :)

it's already the whole movie. i think the to be continued part is because there are 5 books and this one is just the first book (i think)
