I don’t see any problem . In my country age of consent is 15 ( Europe) in Germany it’s even 14 and probably…
So what is the right age? And how did you decide it? Simply by what your country does? Countries have different standards and laws, why is your country's laws better than theirs?

Stay strong! Remember what you are feeling is now. It's not forever and if it is, please seek treatment. Sometimes, it can be hard to remember there are better times just around the corner. Be patient, but also try different things. Know things can change, and will. Fighting!

So do i just live in pain, and live my life for others? I have no interest in what the world has to offer.
Pain isn't forever, even though it may seem like that. Trust that there is something, a purpose for you in this life. Look for it and work for it. Look for ways to help and think of others and you'll find you feel better.

The thing about episodic dramas is that the quality of episodes usually vary and so I found several cases less interesting then others.

Are you caught up to the show?
It's pretty typical, but I like it that it's aware of it, spouting the cliches and sometimes changing things up. I also like the fact that 5 episodes in, our hero is aware of heroine's lies. Good.

It's not a remake. But yes, there are a few series/movies out there with a similar premise. Some people refer…
I believe you are referring to The Most Dangerous Game, a 1924 story that was made into various movies. It was the story of a man being hunted for sport, sounds familiar ?

As for Squid Game, I thought it interesting, but didn't like any of the characters.

Hi! Do you know any dramas like "I guess I was expecting more like a Kleun Cheewit type of storyline, where the…
Hmm, this is a hard trope to find. You might want to try Rahut Rissaya, there are two subbed versions, a newer version without rape and an older version with rape. Both have some problems, but have some differences, although main characters and plot is similar. Basically, icy heroine seeks revenge against her parents' deaths and forces hero to marry her. He thinks she's a *($I$Hf.

Sud Sai Pan has the hero mistaking heroine for her twin sister, this one is really something, haha.

Loving, Never Forgetting - kinda has this theme. Hero thinks poorly of heroine when he learns she has his kid he never knew.

Dung Sawan Sarb 2015 - h is the bad girl, but changes, but hero still treats her like the bad girl she was.

The Romance of Tiger and Rose - oh this is a good one. Hero tries to kill heroine as she's in his way and has a nasty reputation, but learns otherwise.

Payakorn Sorn Ruk 2020- hero doesn't like heroine for legit reasons, she kinda messed up his reputation, but starts falling for her as he protects her on various occassions and realizes she's not bad.

Thanks for the review! I thought this was a pretty good lakorn, maybe not a great one. Paeng is a great character, I loved the 1st 3 eps in particular and Kao Supassara's acting as Paeng was superb, really nailed it as a problematic teen. I felt the story went from being a tragic coming of age story to what basically amounted to a farm romantic comedy lakorn after the time skip of 6 years. Paeng's tragic past is all but forgotten until the last few episodes of the lakorn, which was ridiculous to me and a real wasted opportunity.

My biggest problem with the lakorn? (Which I agree is better than My Husband in Law, which I couldn't finish). We don't get to see how Paeng transforms herself from being a traumatized, out of control teen into the well balanced, capable young woman she becomes after the time skip. Instead, the focus is on a pleasant enough story of the developing love between Paeng and Artit.

I guess I was expecting more like a Kleun Cheewit type of storyline, where the hero hates the heroine, but then he sees her go through so many trials, he can't help falling for her and trying to help her. Like, he could have been saving her from attempts on her life because her parents' murderer thought she saw him and so on. Or Artit sees her having horrible nightmares and realizes she's been through something horrific. I was hopeful when she fainted that one time that it was developing into such a story, but that was it until near the end.

On the other hand, this show gave such a positive perspective of someone who goes through a horrific experience, yet comes out a survivor and one who pretty much has defeated the demons of her past. That's great and yet... is it realistic? Most lakorns don't feature heroines with such a tragic past in a positive way, so was it a wasted opportunity? Because Paeng doesn't seem to suffer from the past at all, the fainting spell was really the only moment I felt the show addressed her past trauma. (By the way, I mean the trauma with her parents, not the one with Artit). So I definitely feel it was a wasted opportunity, yet I still liked the farm romantic comedy part (which is most of it) even if it was nothing new.

Title Rahut Rissaya Spoiler
She is annoying, but not as annoying as Thana. He is such a loser. This drama is better if it doesn't have second…
Thana was even more annoying in 2007 version, where he tried to rape Palai. Glad they took that out. 2007 was more of a slap n kiss (there were several rapes in it).

I think they tried to explain it away as Palai still in shock because of her parents' deaths just acted blindly and that's how it occurred. And she does say later something about how she doesn't believe her dad was gambler.

which one better? the original version or the remake version?
Hard to tell yet, only watched 6 eps so far. I think original had better acting, (though I love Bank as Siwa), but this Palai isn't as controlled or cool. But I do like how they fleshed out some scenes, made villains more nuanced.

Rahut Rissaya except its sorta opposite. FL hates ML because she thinks his father killed her parents and she's out to find evidence. This does have chemistry and ML is not as cute as Mark, but he can act.

How can i watch this with subs?
Please don't watch on thailakorneng sub site. They take subs without permission and subbers prefer you watch from their links so they know people are watching. Use ninjakkn instead, she's the subber.

I haven't read all the comments, but someone asked why Thai dramas in particular seem to have so many slap n kiss? I think an important point that no one brought up is that a heck of a lot of Thai dramas are remakes (Roy Leh Sanae Rai, Sawan Biang, you name it), and these seem to make up the vast majority of the slap n'kiss lakorns you see.

Unlike Korean, Japanese dramas, Thai dramas seem much more reliant on making dramas from books rather than from screenwriters. I would say it seems like at least 80% of prime time lakorns' content seems based on books, and then maybe 60-70% of airing dramas are remakes.

So if you think about it, you have books that are 20+, even 30+ years old that are being remade. This is very comparable to America in the 1960s-1990s that had bodice rippers, Harlequins with numerous rapes. Lakorns based on newer books seem to be more politically correct.

Edited to add: By the way, there's usually a gap of 7-10 years between remakes. So there's a Sawan Biang 1998 and Sawan Biang 2008. Jam Leuy Ruk (1988, 1998, 2008). Jam Luey Ruk, according to wikipedia, is based off a novel written in 1960!!! and has had 2 movies and 5 dramas made from it. Wow!

I enjoyed Pin Anong as well. Lots of chemistry between the leads, kisses, a bit overlong, and heroine is a bit too weak at times, but good plot and acting.
